A lot of people say that KQ6 and KQ4 are the best gameas in the series. Out of those two, which do you people feel is the better? And any personal favorite KQ?
As much as I liked KQ4, KQ6 is much better in so many ways. It's my personal favorite too ;)
I like KQ6 also, and I feel KQ3 is slightly better than KQ4. ;)
KQ6 is my personal fave. :) I only played a bit of KQ4. If I played the whole thing I could compare them better.
I think KQ6 is better than KQ4 ;D, and I don't know which one is my favourite :-\.

Mmm. I haven't gotten to play much of KQ4 yet, but I doubt it could beat the yummy goodness that is KQ6. ;)

VI and IV are at the top of my list. They're so at the top, there's a gap between them and the other games.

Definately VI. It had the extra technology that really made the story stand out and suck you into the environment.
A KQIV remake would be pretty sweet though.
1st place - KQ6
2nd place - KQ5
3rd place - KQ4

KQ6...but I think if KQ4 got a remake and the technology was on the same level as KQ6, it would be a much closer race. Voices, better graphics, music, etc would enhance the game a LOT. It has GREAT potential for amazing backgrounds and settings. I'd love to hear what Lolotte would sound like in it, too! The creepy ol' hag ;-)

There was someone working on the KQ4 remake on the AGDI (Tierra) forum... don't know if he still does though ::)

Hmmm, 4, 6, and 7 were always my favorites to play...
I agree that 4 and 6 are hard to compare because of the huge jump in technology/technique. I found the story and elements (and main character) of 4 interesting, engaging, and full of imagination. 6 was simply more immersive, though, and I think the puzzles were deeper and more fun. Interestingly, as far as the love interests go, I found Edgar MUCH more interesting than Cassima. I find myself wondering what would have happened if Rosella HAD been forced to marry Edgar and have Lolotte as a mother-in-law. XD Would be interesting to see how that could have had a good ending. Might make a nice AU fic, eh?
KQ7 I find also difficult to compare, because it was so much more a play-the-character *story* and while the puzzles were amusing, they weren't difficult at all.
