Hey im new, im just wondering, how many characters will be left handed in the silver lining. Yes i know random question but it never hurts to ask.
Welcome to the forum! Sorry, I'm not on the team, but strange (and good) question.
Yeah... the games industry as a whole is lacking some left-handed representation. XD

More like the whole world, my history class dosnt even have any left handed scissors, so i either have to use my right hand and make it look like Ray Charles cut it, or sound like a mug and ask someone to do it for me.
My best friend in middle school/ high school was left-handed. We were always bumping into each other if I sat on her left. :P
Officially, I don't know, but that sounds like an excellent poll question. :D *wonders off to make one*
We lefties have very little representation. But at least we'll always have Link!
I'm a lefty ;D ;D ;D
Good question. I honestly have no idea, but I do think there are a couple. Definitely something to look for, once the game's out. 8)

Actually, i think they made Link right handed in twilight princess, due to many wii players being right handed. But we still got Sephiroth and Barret from FF7.
Okay, so we lefties are represented by an emotionally volatile giant with guns for hands, and a megalomanic supervillain with a maternal fetish created by genetic experiments with a millenia year old evil alien responsible for the death of an entire race...
How lucky are we...
:-)
W00T!!!!!!!! GO LEFTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a very proud lefty. And for twilight princess, link was both left handed and right handed. On the gamecube version, he was left handed. On the wii version, due to a majority of right handers, they mirrored the gamecube version (or in other words, they flipped the entire game, as like a mirror would do...). I would think Nintendo would've given you the option to choose left or right... As for TSL, that's a very interesting thing to ask. Lefties definitely need more representation in the world...

It would of been easier (and cooler) if Nintendo let you choose what handed you can be. Curse those righties, we get one game were you get to play left handedly and they go and change it >:(

It's a bit difficult to do that, because it means you'd need to make animations for both the right and left arms & hands. Also, sometimes characters will need to be standing in a different spot entirely if they're left-handed rather than right-handed.

True, but i still dont like it.
I must say, I would like that too, but I doubt Nintendo cares enough to re-animate it.

Well atleast Ocarina of Time had a left handed Link.
Zelda games, when they're announced, commonly take two or three years to release from the initital announcement. In that time frame, they should have the time to make different animations, though I suppose it is a bit of hassle. It would be nice though if they had that option. Why is it that lefties are so few in number?

The reason there are so many few lefties is becuase we are allot cooler and becasue our brains are wired differently to right handed people.

It's because we write from left to right. In parts of the world (such as the middle east) where they write from right to left, lefties abound.

That would be so strange.
Well I kinda like being a lefty. It means I'm special, and I like being special lol. I went to San Francisco over the summer, and at Pier 39 they have a store just for lefties. Though for some strange reason I didn't buy anything there. When I visit San Fran again I'll make sure to buy something from it. It was a pretty cool store though. I loved the products they sold. They had scissors for lefties, pens and pencils for lefties, even T-Shirts!
COOL! Hey you and Seymour should vote in my new poll! It's called "left or right"
Where's the poll located at? Is it on the forum?

Wait, how are left handed pen and pencils possible, the t-shirts would of been cool, and the scissors would of been a msut have, due to my schools having barely any left handed scissors.

What I want to know is how left-handed t-shirts work! XD
You have to put your left arm in first. :P
XD XD
I t would prons say something about left handed people and how only the best people in existance were lefties.
