Later i will do a poll that is for your favourite RPG and in that i will include the other 3 Final Fantasy games ;)

I only played ff7 en ff8 and I just love Squall's personality; )

Ooohh, I voted for FF9, I loved the fantasy theme and it is indeed my favorite from all times <3

after that comes ff7, what a great game indeed :)

I went for good old FFIV its the best in the old ones and for the new i would go FFX and then FFVIII.

BTW, I have yet to play FFX... does it have the same kind of plot and style as FF8, Cesar? None of the kiddy stuff in FF9, right?

Had to go with VI. VII takes a very close second. Haven't played enough of 8 to get in on your discussion on Squall and such.

I only played FF1 and 7. ;P

FF10 is FF8 style but it is different with the battle system and all those kinda things, it isnt kidish and it has an excellent and enticing plot ;B, makes you wanna keep playing XD, but thats my opinion.

Anyway I have played all XD
I passed FF1, FF2, FF3, FF4, FF5, FF6 ;D
And i got half way through FF7, FF8, FF9 :P
But FF10 i have just started the other week and so far i have passed 1/4 of the game

Yeah, FFX is much like FFVIII.

The ending of FFX is priceless. It had me in tears.

IMHO anyone who likes a final fantasy game should like every game in the series ;P, cos all the games are great even though some of them are completely different like 7 and 8 :-\, all are good IMO ;)

Yeah, IX is very good.

It was a return to the early days. And I think it was far from being kiddie. There are some very  deep themes in it.

I think 8 was too different from what the main concept of it, although I did dislike with passion the fight in ff8, wtf you used summons as if you could use mp endlessly or something that did kill a lot the game system of it :/ well I dont know :(

You can always choose not to use summons. I didn't liked them too, so I've never used them (xcept against Ifrit) and I did far more damage (Go Squall!! ; ) with my normal attacks than I could while using summons (or magic)

I only used the GF for special abillities (linking magic).

I didnt know FFVIII had the same summons as in FFX ???

Anyway i think that every FF game is unique in its own way ;D, and if they make one that sucks then thats bad luck for us :'(, and if that happens lets hope that the FF series doesnt stop like the KQ series :-\

The FF series is like the Energizer Bunny, it keeps going forever... :P

idd cool way to boost your stats with 100 ultima. Didn't really liked the ultima weapon in FF8, was too easy to beat, good way to get 300 ultima though ; )

Really loved fighting the weapons in FF7 ; )

There is one bad thing about FFXI :-\, its an online game so its not a proper FF :'(
Alot of people wont get it because of that, and they should have called it FFonline ;)

But FFXII is a normal RPG which is good so i look forward to it XD

online and payed, I heard its really cool though, from the few ones that I know have played it :P

I'm getting FF11 ASAP, loads of people I know have it and say its really great. It is a real FF as it isn't just another generic MMORPG (way too many now) its got Square-Enix making it with quests and everything. I had my doubts at first but after hearing about it I can't wait. Now all I need is a fake US address to access it with....hmmmmmm....any takers?!?!? :D:D

Oh and FF12 as far as i know is also going to be online but the graphics look very mmmmmm, very mmmm indeed although I thik the art director has some wierd obsession with girly boys....

I thought FFXII was going back to non online, like a normal RPG ???

And if its gonna be online then im gonna get mad cos i want another normal RPG, i want one where i go through it and it has a proper story and plot :'(

Thats just it though, FF12 will have a proper story and plot. I'm not sure if this is 100% correct but in an interview some top bods at square-enix stated that the story will be driven by real players so if you kill the big bad boss then you become famous etc. The only difference being that the plot writers can keep on coming up with more and more quests and stories for players to play.

Yeah but i just want an old fashioned one again ;), why cant they make it so every second one is online ???

Besides i cant get any of the online ones cos i dont have a Broad band internet connection :'(

Square-Enix bothers me. I liked SquareSoft, but I didn't like Enix. I think Enix is making more of an impression on Square, then Square is on Enix. Thus, I don't like the company much. Well, that, and Square-Enix didn't let me in the FFXI beta.  :(

P.S. I didn't expect FF8 to do so well.

Yay!  I agree with LN.  SquareSoft was much better than Square-Enix.
FFVII - way cool  death of Aerias very sad and touching
2.  FFVIII -- a cool game -- takes second
3.  FFX --- really hard for me and I was not able to beat it -- didn't want to invest any more time in the game
4.  FF Tactics -- a great game for Playstation
I wanted to mention computer games in this thread since I do not want to start another thread.
1.  King's Quest 1 -- my first exciting PC game -- helped teach me how to spell and reason
2.  Conquests of Camelot --- great game
3. Quest for Glory 1 -- fun fighting style
4. Wing Commander Prophecy -- have played so many times that I have lost count
5. Willy Beamish -- silly and dorky game but I liked it
6. Police Quest --- fun to be a cop in unreality
7. Space Quest -- loved being a janitor in space
Well Say now you know more about the mysterious Dew and that I do indeed like games.

Like alot of people FF7 was my first FF game i ever played and for a long time the only one i played and i used to think it was the greatest thing ever but than i got FF6 and now thats my favorite.

Which one is FF6?  for which system --- do you mean FFIII for super nes or something else?

For those that aren't following this. FF6 was originally called FF3 in the US. FF2/3/5(I think) weren't sent over here until later, on a newer system. I guess everyone that voted here already knew that though.

The only way I know to play the original FF2/3/5 in english, is with an emulator.

I just got FFXI recently, takes forever to set up tho. ;P Updating it after install took 5 hours! :o

Now I'm just using the random method to get on a friend's server instead of the World Pass method, tried for 40 minutes but I still didn't land on the right one yet. ;P
