Must be something to do with " becoming a special code in html ending in the semicolon. This problem only happens with new smileys, however.

Not sure how that might affect the smilies, though.

Perhaps the " is outputted as "; and the semicolon is only picked up on the smileys? Still kinda weird how it is only the new ones that have the problem though.
