About how long will each episode (or at least, "What is Decreed Must be.") be? Like in terms of King's Quest games I guess--Will it be KQ5 in terms of size, KQ6?
Will the Entire Chapter 1 be On the Green Isles and where does Chapter 2 & 3 take place.
When can we Expect Chapter 2 & 3
:suffer: :suffer: :suffer:
I told you there were more of these to go around. ;)
see...you were just asking for that ':suffer:' to be thrown at you!
Rejoice in the knowledge that July 10th is coming soon and will keep you occupied with playing for a couple of weeks (or days or mere hours depending on how good you are ;))

This will be the first game in a long time that I won't use a hint book--even if one is made available--for. I didn't have one for the original King's Quests back in the 90s, so it's fitting.
Me neither...I did that the other week when playing the newer version of KQ1, I got stuck so checked something but then I got lazy and it spoilt it for me. I'm going to have to dust off my brain and get my thinking cap on (aswell as my adventurers cap) ;)
i hope after this they can redo some other good adventure games lets hope
I believe the team has decided after this to create their own games. Who can blame them, after all the work they've put into this one?
I think they're doing the 'Cat and Kimmie' game where you have to quest through magical lands rescuing kittens, I hear the main characters are totally amazing
ok...in all seriousness, I think that whatever they do it'll be amazing. They can't go wrong! Such a great team of people who deserve all the glory that is coming their way :)

What a great idea! We must submit this to the team!
Do you know what we'll get in response?

Smileys that are eating kittens?! :o
actually it looks like some sort of choir all singing together! Perhaps saying 'Love' over and over again
Not quite sure how you are saying the word "love" but they are not saying it!
I'm sorry I got caught in a trance starring at them and thought I saw a hidden message...obviously not!
On the topic of POS's original games, the Projects (http://www.postudios.com/company/projects.php) section of their website shows that a game called Corridor 9 is in the early stages of development.

Love, love, love, they want your love?

I think it looks more like "Ra ra ah ah ah roma romama" :P
wow, they are Ga Ga's not Suffer Smileys...she just gets everywhere :( :suffer:
I read an article that she's secretly trying to brain wash the world for the Illuminati (it was actually pretty convincing, and her latest video hadn't even come out yet :P) but apparently she just wanted to get to the :suffer:
I still love her though. :P
Anyways, that's rather off-topic. (Not like that's ever stopped me before...)
Episode 1 is indeed a shorter episode than the rest, but it's a great episode and it sets the stage for what's to come. I played through episode 2 last week and it's about 3 to 5 hours long, depending on the player. The rest of the episodes also fall in the same category of 3 to 5 hours long. All together, it should be a 12 -15 hours experience, or more, depending on how you play it. I'd say the size is a bit longer than King's Quest 6 altogether.
One big difference between King's Quest 6 and The Silver Lining, however, is that The Silver Lining has about 1 hour of cutscenes spread through the 5 episodes, between the fully rendered and the in-game cutscenes. So, expect a very balanced cinematic experience.
