anybody remember me or care im back also i wish i could change my user name ive outgrown this "the hero" take
I am pretty sure I remember you... but to be fair, you only have 20 posts under your belt. :P
lol, very true, Graham!
I believe I remember the name, The Hero, but don't really remember much about you. :S
I don't think I was around when you were on the Forums. I have only been here since 2008. Hi Hero!

I think we've gotten away from changing names, because it is so confusing. But it can't hurt to ask :)
I wouldn't mind changing names. My name sounds really conceited now and...
(emotional music plays) ...And it represents a different part of my life. A phase that I have left. And... (starts to cry) I can't hold on to it any longer! We must part ways... (music ends, scene fades)
...
Okay, so it's not that bad, but still. Though the nickname Nifty might be nice. You know, if it'd stick...
No problem, Nifty. Nicknames are apart of the forum.
Nifty, most people end up having their name shortened or are called something else. Just means you become part of the family. :)
I don't remember how long it took for some people to stop calling me "koko" and switch to "Cat" (The last time I talked to her, Say STILL called me Koko!). In fact, my in-laws knew me as Cat when they first got to know me. Five/Six years later, I still can't get them to call me by my real name :P
ohhh! ohhh! we can have has name changes? :) :)

Rob, lol, I think the admins took away the name change ability when Jason and Graham kept changing their forum names XD

I got the name Waltz, like day two Nifty. See, you already have one now. Welcome to the family.
Has nothing to do with beeing part of the family, we are just lazy to type it all! *nod*nod*

Your name shall forever be CAT :cat:(it's as close as you are going to get to your real name haha) ...and hey you even have your own emoticon ;) you are so famous
Mum gave me the name Kim so that it couldn't be shortened by anybody, she didnt think it would be made longer by people...FAIL :suffer:
Score! I've got a nickname.
Okay, so I already know Cat and Waltz's nicknames... Any other important ones I should know?

I'm Tessy. Though I've forgotten who it was that gave me that one. :P
Oh, and I'd love to see fanfic! Especially if it's got Alexander. :P

Uhm, excuse you, that was *not* me! I was Questing Character for always -- it was all of YOU who couldn't decide what to call me, and that's how I ended up with so many nicknames! :P I think that was Jason and Alex.
Uhm... do we really want to go through all of my nicknames? Again? Do we have that kind of time? :P
Basically, any time someone says "Cray", "Graham" or "Q" they're talking to me.

I can always start calling you 'K' *nods*
lol, sorry Graham! It was so far back that I couldn't remember who exactly. Knew Jason for sure. You and he got along so well on the forums, I naturally assumed the other person was you :P
Oh, come on! I caused trouble much more frequently with you and/or Kimmie and/or James. :P
Wasn't there someone who got stuck on a girl's name? Mary Jane or something? That was all way before me, I just remember talk of it.

It was Shades. :) I miss Shades. :(
Yes! That's right. Tessy the pirate. Me too. :(
Where has Shades gone? :(
Dunno about Shades, but everyone tends to call me Haids around here. It's my actual nickname in real life, so I'm cool with it. I actually don't really like being called Haids1987 on the forum! It's like when your mom is mad at you and middle names you. *Shudder*

Mary Jane! <3 he was awesome, had that avatar from that guy that played in Evil Dead movies, can't recall his name

There's not much Alexander. It's mostly original characters. But I'll probably get around to putting them somewhere on the forums.
I tried putting them on fanfiction.net once, but there's no King's Quest section, and since I had completed a bunch already, uploading seemed like such a hassle...
I was around in the lousina night days and when the board was blue then red and now gray heck i still rember the old flashplayer intro dang im old
KITTY EDIT: edited out language. Family friendly :cat:
"In the Louisiana Night days"? XD I've never heard that phrase before... :P
:suffer: :suffer: :suffer: :suffer: :suffer: :suffer:
Rosella, you remember Louisiana Night, don't you?
Yes, I definitely remember him. I was just confused as to when he became a unit of time, or something. XD
I don't actually remember you, but welcome back.
As for name shortenings, everyone always refers to me as Mango now (unless you're Rob, because you refer to me by my real name!); I'd probably get rid of the "Mercury" part, but it doesn't bother me.
Quote from: MangoMercury on June 28, 2010, 11:54:53 PM

Ofcourse, why wouldn't I call you Roberta? ;)
(and your other name just sounds awesome *nods*)
Roberta is back! YAY!
Hey, what with a brilliant new King's Quest adventure around the corner, how could I not be back?
Thanks for the teeny tiny compliment, Rob! <3
Yay!, now we only have to keep her away from CC *nods*
Pfftt! only the writing was teeny tiny! the compliment was not! but things has to be in balance hence the small font *nods*
Aw, but I like CC! And I know deep down he likes me too!
Teeny tiny font rules. But I can't make it teeny tiny any more!
Liking has nothing to do with it if you end up in a padded room again :-\
And that sucks! I can! *cackles*
You'd come and join me though Rob, right? After all, I can't spell "Roberta" without "ROB!"
...I want teeny weeny text. Boo.
I rather keep you out of there in the first place! but if you do happen to end up in there again I'll drop by from time to time *nods* to bring you flowers, magazines, sledgehammers, etc
And what is wrong then? that you can't type teeny weeny like this?
Wait, do you not know how to type like this, Mango?
She knows and did so in the past, but now she says she can't anymore!
How you can forget?
I don't think it is forgetting as much as it doesn't work for her anymore. She is english....
Is that English in a good way or a bad way, Rob? Basically, I keep putting the size in and it won't make it teeny weeny any more.
Don't worry Mango, I don't know what he's going on about. Brits aren't stereotypically stupid here in America--mostly other Americans are. :P Are you putting the size in the correct place? [size=1pt

XD Back in the days of the Jarada Knights! We should make a unit of time.... Instead of an hour or day for instance, we could say in an "LN"...
Ahh, Bruce Campbell, true! Thanks for reminding me :)

pt after the
1. I think it should be
size=1pt.

Ima not telling! ;)
And yes, what Tage said, just use the size tags and remove then 0 and ya fine :)
I totally miss Mary Jane!
Giving the teeny weeny text a try again just to say to Rob that he's being a meaniepie by not telling me, but will appreciate his confirmation of Tage's instructions.
Even if you do have a dislike of the UK!
...YAAAAAAAAAY.
Oi! I am not a meanie! and there are like, 5 things (at least) in/from the UK I like!
Am I one of the five things?
I thought my screen had gone funny! :suffer: 'What is this faint white line?'...ooooooh!
Hahahah, thankfully not, Kimmie!
We just highjacked the "any body care im back" thread and transformed it into the "Teeny Weeny Text" thread!
ofcourse you are one of the five things! you have to ask? *gasps* what really the brainbreaker is, can you name 4 other things besides you that are good about your country?Quote from: Kimmie on July 11, 2010, 07:03:49 AM

you should get your eyes checked if you can't read it! :P
I would like to see how many people can read it without the copy and paste action I had to do!
If any one has eye sight that good, then they should be in a profession which would display their talents!

I'm sitting here with glasses (ok so im not short sighted, I just can't see black very well) and that picture is just taking the **** :suffer:
I'm actually meant to wear glasses when using computers (nothing else, just computers), but often don't. I just don't like them
Well I only started using mine for driving...but then I realised how blind I am for distance. Then I found that tv looked better with them on...and at my computer I didnt get as tired and now they are stuck on my face 8)
Today is Princess Vespa's

I got my eyes lasered! \o/ so happy with it :)
yeh I'd like to try that too, was there much discomfort when you got them done?
I'm sorta interested in that too but it scares me. :-\
Well my Uncle has had it done and has never looked back ( :suffer:)...seriosuly though he didnt have any problems until in his job a wire lashed him in the eye and now his vision is bad again but thats not due to the surgery!!
I'd get it done in a few years when I can afford it, but it is a scary thought
Only discomfort was right after surrgery since they gave me eyedrops so I could not accomodate with my eyes. Had difficulty focussing for like 3-4 hours or so but after that it was fine.
The procedure itself took like 40 seconds each eye, I was in and out of the building in 10 minutes or so ;) (though there were quite some tests before they said I was eligable for the procedure, and have to get back after a day/week/2weeks/month/3months/half year/year/etc to monitor). The centre where I got my eyes lasered said they had a less then 1% where it didn't work out, and usually could be fixed with a second procedure. I was scared as well at first, but seems that rumors of getting blind and such are all lies and never happends (or well, guess that depends on the procedure, at least with the one I took it never occured since they work in a completely different part of the eye).
I still need to put in some eyedrops a few times a day (different ones then used before the surgery, these are just fake tears), to keep my eyes from drying out but I think that stops aswell about 3 months or so after the procedure.
Anyways, just loving it, it is so much easier, though still reaching for my glasses when I am waking up ;)
Notable side effects for Rob included an inability to type the letter 'm'
Aww, but that was endearing. I re'e'ber when 'any of his 'usings had to have apostrophes. ;)
pfft! you all be warned, I still have my old, origional and broken laptop keyboard! if you don't behave I will replace my current one with it! wrar!
I'm cool with that! Like I said, I thought it was cute. :lovegoggles:
Oh please no, trying to read that gave me a headache, and I get enough of those. :P
I have 20/15 vision and I can't read any of that stuff, what the eff? :P
It helps if you've watched spaceballs ;)
WHERE IS THE TEENY TEXT?
I'd love laser surgery, but unfortunately my eyesight is too bad to have it done.
Also Rob, PLEEEEEEASE don't bring back the broken keyboard! I've quite come to enjoy seeing you type whole words again!
I can always type the apostophes in teenytinytext!
'ango'ercury :P
I was wondering why he wasn't typing certain letters in his posts a while back...
you could have asked! though I did mention it a few times that my keyboard was broken *nods*
Rob was a sillypants who broke his keyboard.
That would be a good idea though if you decided to break this one!
it was not a decision to break my first keyboard.... :'(
By the time I noticed, I think it had stopped happening or something like that. Haha, so your keyboard actually broke? How long was it like that?
a few weeks or so, drove Neil crazy :P
yeh reading so many of those posts, I almost started leaving m's out of real words because I thought it was the norm ;)
Don't you 'ean the nor'?
Clearly it wasn't annoying for you all, since you are doing it yourself now ;)
Like I keep saying, endearing! It's what 'akes Rob the 'an I will 'arry. ;)
