I was helping out for a Senior Citizen Dinner and a Movie tonight for my HS Student Council, and my friend was the pianist for it.  One of the songs she played was All I Ask of You from Phantom, and I think that's how it all started.

Sometimes there's a song stuck in my head too, but usually that doesn't last long, and is mostly due to the fact I heard it earlier before during that day.

Not a problem, in a few weeks (?) I will join the ranks of the Magical Genies. Then finally I can get rid of those smelly cauldrons, us wizards tend to use sometimes. XB

Yes!! red is a nice color, isn't it ; ) *winks* ....my favorite color is blue btw but snce the forum is kind of blue, I can't really notice it.

And ever since I'm wizard slave off, I wanted to be an oracle ; ) ...so I guess I have to post a little lesser if I want to enjoy my rank ; )

yes that was my guess too (double Magical Genie postcount) but 2500 sounds good too (and is much closer ; )
Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)
Post by: Oldbushie on March 20, 2004, 10:28:20 PM
I'm hoping 2500, ;) It took 750 to go from Wzard to Genie, so 1000 from Genie to Whatever sounds good. ;)
Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)
Post by: B'rrr on March 21, 2004, 12:48:04 AM
....yes but from powerfull wizard to magical genie you had to double your postcount... so it could go that way from now on: 3000, 6000!! ugh ; (

naww.... lets stick with 2500 ; )

Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)

Since 1500 is 750 times 2, the next one should at least be 1500 times 2 = 3000 posts. 8)
Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)
Post by: Oldbushie on March 21, 2004, 02:58:00 PM
Yes, but 500->750 took 250. ;)
Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)
Post by: Jeysie on March 21, 2004, 03:08:13 PM
OK, let's see if we can figure out the pattern here. ;)

0-50 - Wizard's Slave
51-100 - Silly Adventurer
101-250 - Devoted Knight
251-500 - Royal Heir
501-750 - Great Oracle
751-1500 - Powerful Wizard
1501-(?) - Magical Genie

So we have approximately:

50
50
150
250
250
750

Which gives us something like:

(N/A)
+100%
+150%
+100%
+50%
+100%

So, er.

Peace & Luv, Liz

Hrm, weird pattern. :S
Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)
Post by: copycat on March 21, 2004, 03:17:23 PM
If it were + 50 %, bushie would already be it by now, so it's either + 100 % or + 150 %. ;-D
Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)
Post by: B'rrr on March 21, 2004, 03:21:16 PM
I think the next thing in line would be:

1000
1000
1250
1500
1500

....hahaha... I just have no idea ; ) lol.... but yonkey you can congratulate me if I'm right ; )
Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)
Post by: Jeysie on March 21, 2004, 03:39:54 PM
Hmm. A pattern I can see is...

50
(repeat)
50
(+50)
150
(+50 +50)
250
(repeat)
250
(+250)
750
(+250 +250)
1250
(repeat)
1250
(+1250)
2500
(+1250 +1250)
5000

etc.

So it would be, uh...

0-50
51-100
101-250
251-500
501-750
751-1500
1501-*2750*
2751-4000
4000-6500
6501-11500

etc.

Or maybe we're putting too much thought into this. ;)

Peace & Luv, Liz

BTW Yonkey ;D, the titles that u made, are they related to KQIX in anyway ???
Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)
Post by: Yonkey on March 22, 2004, 01:36:53 PM
Possibly, but they're more related to KQ in general since that's the theme I noticed they were beforehand:

Wizard's Slave (KQ3)
Silly Adventurer (KQ1)
Devoted Knight (KQ2)

etc.

I should stalk forum regulars when they go away I would go flooding their emails with emails from me like "OMGSTORMWHEREAREUWTF?!?!?!" :P lol

I don't hate you... and I'm actually spending too much time on the forum as it is, considering how busy I am right now. I've got a DEADLINE, you know (boy, do I feel important. And scared :S)

I don't mind getting spam from Say... if she can take the time to write it, I can definately take the time to delete it  8)

Hee. I've managed to get to the point where I can win in Hexxawand more often than I lose, but there's just no way I'm going to beat you, B'rrr. (Which is just as well, assuming this month's prizes will be of the same type as last month's.) I figured out there's 58 spaces, so you're getting, like perfect scores! Go you!

Uh...Hola, por favor? :)

Yes, fooled you have been...to a certain extent.
I know a bit of french because we're forced to learn it in school in Canada.
I know a bit of Spanish because I have several friends from Latin countries.  (3 from Venezuela, 2 from Peru, 2 from Mexico, 1 from Argentina)  Most of what I know with that is the swear words. :D
I know a bit of German because I lived on a Canadian Military base in Germany for three years.  (no, I'm not fluent because I was young and too stupid to take the opportunity to learn it)  I was functional with my German, but it's been over ten years since I've had to use it. :P

English is the only language I can communicate in...and even that can be questioned. :D

Strange, they say the younger you are when you come into contact with a foreign language, the better you will learn it. That must be why I know English so well, since I came into contact with it at a very young age (went to America with my parents, or so they say.). 8)
Title: Re:Woot (numba 2)
Post by: J-ROC on April 01, 2004, 03:12:30 PM
The age thing only demonstrated my immaturity and unwillingness to learn it.

One of the key reasons I didn't learn German that well was because of my exposure to it.  Sure, I was completely surrounded by it, but all my friends were other Canadian military brats.  I went to an English school.  Most of my time was spent at military housing or installations, and not submersed with the Germans.

So, basically, all the German I learned was just to be functional.  I could go out and buy stuff...but that's about it.

That's the translation of the Dutch words for fries. I have a better idea: just name them fries. 8)
