I saw Pink last night at the NEC she was f***in amazing!! So totally different sounding to how she does on the radio or her albums. I was looking forward to it anyway but nothing could of prepared me for how awesome it was <3 <3 <3 I'll try and get some pics from somewhere to show you her acrobatic skills too hehe.
Also the dancers ending up becoming pole dancers which was nice.

I like P!nk too, but not to the extent I'd go to any of her shows. Come to think of it, I don't go to any artist's shows! :P
neither I do, but perhaps for different reasons :P
Well this is the first "show" type thing I've been to really. I've been to gigs where the band or artist just plays/sings a set but I've never seen anything like what Pink was like! It was just a feast for all the senses with the mad lighting, video screens, dancers and of course the lady herself singing. I was just really impressed. The support act were a joke though!
I dunno if any of you have heard of "Chicks on Speed" but they were a complete rip off of them with a amatuer approach to what they were trying to do. Basically it was just two women who were playing Vinyls and pretending to mix songs into each other but what they were REALLY doing were randomly stopping a song and putting in a new one while flashing their ass and tits (no joke) and looking as if they were having some epileptic fit while shreiking "come on Birmingham!!"
It got worse than that though when they put on a song where the main lyrics were "f*** this s***" and they wanted us all to sing along! I mean FFS thats just poor! Ah well Pink more than made up for it :lovegoggles:
I never really go to concerts even, mostly cuz I don't like the crowd mentality. ;P
I love going to barbershop concerts... the atmosphere is laid-back but fun, and the after-concert parties are a blast. I've never gotten to go to any "professional" concerts, though.

What songs did she sing? Mostly from her new album?
No thats was so nice about it! It was kinda in chronological order from her first quite R'N'B album (but quite rocked up with decent guitar work) to Missunderstood then a really cool part was the curtains closing and just her and a guitarist playing an accoustic doing Janice Joplin covers! They were really nice actually and showed off her voice in the best possible way.
Also she did Lady Marmalade with Christina, Mya and Lil' kim represented with blow up sex dolls! All the dancers and pink were like "playing" with the dolls and Pink ended up popping the Christina doll and singing " But still - I am beautiful" heh nice touch :D
Then she did some of her new stuff - Try too hard in perticular was really good due to the way they've totally reworked all the tracks when compared to the album. Feel good time was quite good too as it didn't feature much singing just a remix of it with really Fit-inducing lighting going on and cool videos on the screen, it broke it up nicely. Then for the Encore she did "we're in the jungle" (probly not the name, it was a cover) and then get this party started where she was on those nylon rope type things being swung round at 30 miles and hour and still singing! What a hero! hehe. Does that answer your question? ;D
