I had to choose the second one :-\, im pretty embarrassed about it but still that happened to me alot in KQ7 :-[
hmmm.... I never played KQ7... can I still vote?
If you want, but you cant vote for the top one ;P
The game *was* somewhat confusing at points, even with a walkthrough. ;)
Played and finished KQ7.
Never for a moment got confused, and very rarely stuck. Even then, I was never stuck enough to use a walkthrough, so I consider it a very easy game ;D
well...poo on you! ;P
Cat
Jealous :P
OMGSTORM you got a "poo on you!" :o lol, now that was hilarious :D

I had to get three walkthroughs to pass some parts for the same reason that u had Oldbushie :-\
sorry storm...poo on you is my new phrase...that I seriously use all over the place...but only the first or second time i've used it in the forum!

was "i fart on your grave" from South Park ???
No idea...I don't watch South Park. I have no idea where I got that saying...probably from one of my friends who I spend too much time with. (The same friend who knows all the dances to Chicago-the movie-like my sis).

I don't have enough patience to keep searching for an aswer that keeps eluding me, so I revert to hints very easily. So, I bought the KQ7 Official Hint Guide.
I ended up taking the walkthrough at Sierra Planet ;)

AFAIK, when I bought KQ7, I didn't have internet yet, so that would have been rather difficult for me. :S
This is the first I hear about this... I got the impression EVERYONE thought KQ7 was really easy. It's usually regarded as the easiest KQ (by me, anyway) :-\
Where did you get stuck/confused/have difficulties?
My family and I were the same way...we did not have the internet when we got the King's Quest games (until, that is, we got MoE), so we actually compiled the four or five questions and *gasp* called the game help line :o.
I know one place we had trouble was with the wand at the end...we didn't know that it could be turned. Same with the shield and Rosella...didn't know the spike came out! Oh well, remember, we were pretty young, so we couldn't think as abstractly as we can now ;-D

i didnt get the internet until July last year ;)
i only got the walkthrough cos the library around the corner from my house allows you to go on the internet for an hour and its free :o ;D

Do you really expect me to still remember
that? ::)
You know...I think after I get off this board (give me another hour! lol), I'm going to play KQ7 again...I think it's about time...hopefully, though, I won't get stuck anywhere! If I do, something is horribly wrong with my memory!

I got stuck there too, trying to figure out why the darn wand wasn't working. Then I looked at it in the inventory window and noticed the hotspot ;)
If by "stuck", you mean for longer than a day. No, I never got stuck, or used a help booklet.
Err. I was actually about 5 or 6 when I played this game. I remember thinking of all the things to do when you were stuck. So I used objects on objects, objects on stuff, wand on EVERYTHING, and always looked at stuff. Never had a problem with KQ7. Loved the game. The Disney-ish graphics were fun for me, and knowing what was interactable-with made it a lot easier. But then again I was a little super genius when I was a kid. Had an IQ of 184. As I got older, I started hanging out with people a lot like you guys and it was all downhill from there. :-\
the only KQ game i beat with out a walkthrough
it was easy :stabs:
