I see the banner in town in TSL says happy 21st birthday... so how old would Alexander have been in KQ6? It seems like this would have been years later... so he would have been really young even when he and cassima got married... just a thought.
Wasn't he supposed to have been 19 in KQ 6? I remember the old TSL timeline said something about him being 17 in KQIII, 18 in KQV, and 19 in KQVI. Then apparently two years passed between 6 and TSL. :)

Depending on varient dates given in the official KQ games, manuals,etc, he was between 18 and almost 20.
Yeah, it's always tricky to piece together ages, particularly when there's clearly missing time. We don't know how much time was spent between King's Quest 4 and 5, so it's all speculation. For all we know, Graham went out to pick those flowers right after being healed by the magic fruit, or it could have been years. So that complicates the age for the kids. And as for Graham, it's hard to tell, because the time frame between King's Quest 1 and 2 is also sketchy. Could have been fairly soon, or taken a while. Likewise for 2 and 3. How long were Graham and Valanice married before they had kids? Unless you want to go by speculation, or piecing together what official information there is (that doesn't conflict), it's just your best guess.

The KQV manual says it was a year between KQ4 and KQ5. KQ4 takes place right around Alex and Rosella's 18th birthday, so roughly a year later would play them at near their 19th birthday.
KQVI takes place 6 months (when Alex washes up on the Isle of the Crown) after KQV. So he's nearly 20.

If KQVI takes place 6 months after Alexander's 19th birthday, he'd still be 19. He'd be "closer" to his 20th birthday, but he'd still roughly have 6 more months to go before he was 20.

Should have seen that one coming! I would certainly hope it was that long! Otherwise that would mean that Graham wasn't the first to rescue her from the tower! Although that would bring up other questions, such as why did she go back?

In an alternative story in KQ5 hintbook it was from the nursery.
As for dates in the games, manuals, and official hintbooks there are quite a few dates that don't match up. Depending on some dates, KQ6 takes place about a year after KQ5. But a reference in KQ6 places it about six months after KQ5.
And actually at the end of King's Quest III Graham states that the magic mirror has been clouded "ever since the night you (Alex) disappeared from your cradle."
Not that Alexander's cradle wasn't on the shores of a lake though. No one said Graham and Valanice were fit parents...
