Absolutely loving the game so far, and I'm totally stuck ::)
I've spoken with Ali, bought the map, the candy, retrieved the fishing pole, combined said fishing pole with the necklace, retrieved the hole-in-the-wall, and then spoke with Hassan, but after speaking with Hassan, he only says, "Ready to sail?" And there is no option to go to a "red circled area" on the map. I can only go to Isle of the Crown, Isle of Wonder, or Isle of the Sacred Mountain.
Any help would be much appreciated ;D
After buying the map did you

I have the red circle on the map, but when I go to Hassan and he says "ready to sail", the boat sails, but all we come to is the rock formation. The boat moves to the red circled area on the map, but when I click on it, nothing happens. I've also clicked and moved the boat to the Sacred Mountain, but nothing happens. If I bring up the map, I can't exit or save the game. I have the lethal liquid, the fishing pole combined with the necklace, the empty water bottle, which I can only fill with fresh water from the well, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do that. Ali has nothing else to tell me and I've read all the books. I've read about the hole in the wall, but don't know where it is or how to get it. Don't know what else to do. Would appreciate some direction.
Try re-loading a savegame a little before that, when you sail to the red circled area it should leave the map and show you standing on the ship with Hassan and his first mate.
The rock formation is where you are supposed to end up when you click on the red circle--you'll have to do something to get the attention of the nymphs there.
I have noticed sometimes when you click some parts of the Isle of the Sacred Mountain on the boat map you don't get to the shore--click around in a few places on it. If you click towards the northern end of it, that should definite work. Once there, you might find some more clues :)
The exiting the map problem sounds like a technical issue; I'll let Weldon handle that one.
