Tonight at 9 PM Central, Rich and myself will be guests on the Tazz and Kegs Underground (http://www.wrgtradio.com/tazzandkeg.htm) show on WRGTradio.com! We'll be talking to the hosts about The Silver Lining and Phoenix Online, and I believe there'll be a chance to submit questions (as well as listen) to the show live at their website!
I'll also post a link to the show when it's uploaded later, but tune in tonight if you're around!
****
Update: The full episode is now available for download and streaming at their website: take a listen!* (http://www.wrgtradio.com/tazzandkeg.htm)

Wait, so it's live? Good luck! I'll definitely tune in.
I believe so--I listened to one of their old shows that's online and they give instructions on how to log in and chat and send questions and such.
Me as well, as long as I remember. :P
The number to call in to the radio show is: 262-672-4263
and you can listen by following the Tune In Now link in the upper right corner at wrgrtradio.com!
Sweet! Listening now!
Listening as well. Will they be taking questions via the mibbit chat or by those logging in? :suffer:
Yep we'll be live in a few minutes!
I believe they'll be looking for questions via whatever method they get them.
The number I posted above is the call-in number for questions: 262-672-4263; I'm not entirely sure about chat, but they might.
Okay, I've checked, and yes they do take questions by chat! Easily accessible by their website.
Loving this Legend of Zelda song!
Monkey Island! Yes! :D
Brental Floss into this. So fitting.
Man, wish I could hear this stuff! Hah, starting to sound like it might help some people with the Whistle contest... ;)
Go children, listen NOW
Maybe. Just Maybe...
I'm listening! Go Phoenix, you deserve it!
You guys are doing great!
LOL it even sounds ridiculous to me whenever I talk about what I'm doing here and what I do for my day job.
They are just fleshing you out. I never knew your background except for the math teacher part.

It would be AWESOME to have a TSL team member as a math teacher.
"If Graham has 13 geese, how many wooden bowls can he take from the cottage without asking?"
It'd be awesome to know a team member personally at all! :D Or someone who knows what TSL is even...
Portal!! I might actually listen to this in general if they keep playing songs like this and Monkey Island... :D
I was at Wal-Mart the other day and someone was talking about the game. It took me by surprised, because of how isolated I am. I like to think that I know you, Tess. Does that count?

Where is Cez?
He has family visiting this week, so he wasn't available.

Ah, that's cool. I wish I knew someone in real life too. Nah, I didn't talk to them, too shy. Just smiled and walked on my way.

Wait, what? What'd I miss?
They mentioned a director's cut of TSL to be released after all 5 episodes, which would be non-episodic and more along the lines of their "original" vision.
Sweet!
Yes, indeed.

Seriously? That's awesome! :D
For my own archival purposes, I recorded the entire interview. I'll be uploading it here in a minute for anyone who wants it.
(Posted on: September 23, 2010, 11:15:19 PM)
Here is the interview in mp3 format. (http://www.mediafire.com/?d124fsb6ymaqp3w) (45:00, 41.2MB)
There is an issue with reverb/feedback at the very beginning of the interview, but for the record, that was exactly what was broadcasted.
I also just realized that I made a typo in the title of the mp3. It should be "WRGT" instead of "WRBT".
Awesome! Thanks for the upload. Grabbing it now
Thanks; I was unavailable for the live feed. :)
The live feed was awesome. I loved the callers. I mean, you can read all the praise on the forum but to listen to those guys and to hear the happiness in their voices was just priceless. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall to see the teams reaction.
You would have had to splice yourself into 3 flies since Katie, Weldon and myself were in different rooms :suffer:
But seriously it was cool to hear. It was deeply appreciated.
The suffer! No, I haven't felt this way since May when I came on board. XD. I didn't think about that and i heard the skype pops too, I'll have to come up with a plan 'B' then.
Hearing those people call in and talk about their experiences growing up playing the games and how much they've enjoyed this one too was just incredible. Just the type of thing to get us fired up for some more work on Episode 3.
*Puts on game face* Sock it to me, Weldon.
Thanks for the audio upload, doon! The show's hosts should be uploading it to iTunes soon, and I'll link to that when it's ready and available.
missed it last night.
downloading.....

You're welcome. I wanted to be sure to have a copy in case their recording failed for any reason.
Thanks for the upload, doon! I missed it too due to work. Looking forward to listening to it.

I'm uber glad I could download the show ;D...I missed the live feed because I was fixing the window in my room at that point
It was super awesome to hear ya'll speaking!

Yay, cookies!
;) ;) and I remembered you'd said in another thread, Weldon, that Chocolate Chip's you favorite :D:D
Very cool interview!
I have always pronounced Cezar like Caesar..... Never heard it like that.
nice interview. I was going to call in but then I actually kinda forgot what time it was then had other stuff to do. to bad.
I was thinking of calling in and asking about C9 to see if I could get any new info about it. I decided not to - probably a good thing.

I also wasn't really sure what to say. If I had called in it would have been later... to ask about the developers release because that is what I am really stoked about for now. wish I had been there when it was live, but it was still a nice listen.
I would have called in if I knew about this.

Me too, Atec!
We only found out about the call in feature of the show 5 minutes before the show started. Otherwise we would have announced it sooner on the forums.
We'll probably be on their show again at some point, and now that we know about the call-in thing we'll be able to give a lot more notice about it.
