Would it be possible to sticky an "Easter Egg / Did You Try..." thread for Episode 2? Although I played the Episode through without a walkthrough, I'd hate to miss out on a great scene somewhere. I also understand there's an Easter Egg but so far have been unable to find it.
I'd sure like to have one thread to discuss these little gems. To start, can someone give me a hint as to where the Easter Egg is in Episode 2?
Which one? :suffer:
Thread is now stickied. Enjoy!
Thanks Chris!
Now I just need a hint to get started.... 8)

No problem. Just doing my job as your friendly neighborhood moderator! As for a hint to get started, how about Suffer? He's hidden in the game somewhere. We actually ran a contest a while back where you had to find him. See if you can find suffer. He's under lock and key... ;)
Hint for one of the bigger ones (not the Suffer one that DD was referencing)...
It's found on the beach screen of the Isle of Wonder
Did you try...
Hanging around the guard dogs in front of the Castle of the Crown for a bit...

Dropping one of your inventory items in the ocean (though you won't be able to find one of the other easter eggs after doing this)

Clicking on the little tree at the docks

Looking at the chair in the Isle of Wonder

Looking at the door in the book store (from the inside)

Trying to interact with something while sitting on a bench

Touching a torch (I did this with the one in Grahams room in Ep 1, don't remember if it works with any of the others or not)
Some of those I honestly didn't know about... XD
Whoops, meant bookstore, not pawn shoppe in one of those. :P
Hang around ANY pair of guard dogs for a minute or so, actually--that's not limited to the ones at the front door :)
Only just noticed that, very subtle.
On a related note, I've always wondered if the 80s/90s Sierra jingle would work at all with the 2002-2008 logo sequence...
In fact, What do you think? (http://sslaxx.twu.net/SierraOnlineEntertainment.avi)

Hooray for video codecs,
not. Try it in VLC?
Alternatively... (http://sslaxx.twu.net/SierraOnlineEntertainment.ogv) - you'll still need VLC (sorry), but it should have a much better chance of playing, at least.
I have to download it first.

Never mind; the .ogv opened in MPC. Very nice; I like it! :)

And there's where that came from in episode 3! We haven't forgotten all the KQ games. We pulled from the lore of all 8 games.

Nope. I mean episode 3. We have some more references to not just MoE but also several other past KQ games in episode 3. I wonder who will find them all?

(remembers a screen shot of pawn shoppe) :)
Episode 3:
"You don't play too many adventure games, do you Graham?"
"Contrary to your beliefs, I do. Over and over again. >:("
I LOL'ed!
oh yeah loved that one!
Episode 3
Actually everything in the area where that conversation is found was awesome
Btw don't know if anyone posted this one from episode 2
A certain reference to another Sierra game when you talk to Black Widow
There's a good one in the throne room - if you can figure out how to get in there. :P

This is my favorite part of the whole game so far. I laughed so hard! It's worth replaying for that alone.
Candles
Did you find the crying Graham head? I still don't understand the purpose of it, but I got it from lighting all of the candles and then checking out the circle. I thought it was a component for the living salt ingredient for such a long time! But when I did the two enchantments and the candle melted, I knew that you obviously couldn't light anymore candles which meant the crying head was useless because the game obviously wouldn't screw me over by not letting me have the head after the enchantments were done. Was there a point for this item? If so I don't really get it ???
That item is an easter egg related to one of the contests we're running, Drusain.
It's also not Graham. ;)
Ah yes.. I knew that ;]

Missed this until my second playthrough.
Interact with the gutter on the northwest side of the druid village for an interesting dialogue
What exactly triggers the "T'is beyond his reach" line? Because sometimes, if I click an item, Graham will walk to it and then interact with it, and other times, the narrator informs me that it's beyond his reach.
There are a couple of things.
-Trying to interact with something while sitting
-Trying to interact with something that is beyond a camera change trigger
Did anybody try talking to the crow? Multiple times? Jason recorded some pretty great lines there! XD
My "Death of a King" page has some of the Easter eggs, at least for Episodes 1 and 2.

:)
So what was the purpose of the golden lock?
You use it to find an easter egg in Episode 2.
1: Try to pick up the path on the Isle of the Beast.
2: Look at, then try to take the gutter in the Druid's village. (It's on the house on the left.)
Did you watch to the end of the credits in Episode 4? :)
Yep. Valanice got Ranger-napped. Not sure where he's taking her though.
As for Easter eggs I haven't found any yet. I did notice that the dresses in the market appear to be homages to Disney princess dresses (granted with different color schemes.)
1: While flying over the city, try to "Take" Azur's palace.
2: Look at the golden fruit before taking it or from inventory.
3: Look at then try to ouch the fountain in the artist's district... :D

lol! I'd missed 1 and 3 XD
Try using the Tinderbox twice more to look under the barrels in Beast's basement.
