Maybe its because its 1:00am and i havent been to bed yet ;D
But then there are a few differences between American English and Australian English XD
There are even a few differences between American English and Canadian English.
English is such a colourful languange.
You insult my honour with that u. :P ;)
Isn't "honour" the Canadian spelling of that word as well? ;D
That was kind of the point. ;)
It's actually American English VS British English(which canadian, austrailian, and all the other one go under)

Are you sure Canadian English was not derived from the American version?
I'm pretty sure that Canadian English is derived from British English since Canada was populated by Europeans...though mainly the French, right? I am SO horrible at geography and that part of history! (take what I say with a grain of salt!)

You could say the same about the US... ;-D
Oh, stop being so technical...BTW, we fought for our independance from England...I don't know about Canada, but either they haven't or they did quite a while after we did. Somone provide me with the right answer, please!
Cat
Hey,NO...Canadian is derived from British...First French came and Then British took over so French are now a minority in a way. And the truth is Americans are a totally new story from Canadians...Canadians were in a way the leftovers of the American Revolution...LOYALISTS...
Koko....
What's so bad about geo and his? In fact I'm a braniac at it...I especially like politics though I would never want to get mixed up in it... ;)
Never said I didn't like history...just I have a hard time keeping it straight. I believe in another post, I said something along the lines of that I find a few parts of history that I just become obsessed with it. The example I gave was with the Romanovs of Russia, mainly Czar Nicolas and Czarina Alexandria!
Cat
How about king's quest history? ;D
Give me a little bit of time to go over it again...been a while since I've studied it. And thanks for helping me boost my posts!
Cat
give and get...or is it?....get and give....?
I think it's give and get...don't remember where it came from, but remembering "it is more blessed to give than to receive"...
Cat
it's more blessed to kill connor than let him live
too true, too true....Kill Connor!
Cat
NO...that would be to nice...let him burn on a stake...In fact I'll be doing a fan art of him burning on a stake with cedric and the royal family running around like cannibals...(A bit cruel though too the royal family...NOTHING IS CRUEL Enough TO CONNOR
In Australia we spell colour, honour and favourite like this :D
Connor should face Prometheus' fate. ;) Forever having his liver eaten, or maybe other vital parts as well. ;)

Ofcourse you do, you're still loyal to the British Queen! 8)
Connor is an icon for everything that was awful about MoE, so he should also pay the conseqences. >:(
Amen to that ;-D

I enjoy being loyal to the Queen ;D, im glad we havent seperated from her control 8)
BTW they are trying to bring in American spelling :-\ :'(
yeahhh... we dutch are very exceptional ; / ...I don't know if it is more simple or not, but i don't have any problems with the new rules ; )
Even if they bring in new spelling i will still spell the old way ;)
OK = Oll Korrect. XB (True story, look it up sometime. Darn rednecks. :P)
And I say we should make Connour be the new spelling of Connor. ;)
Nah, Connour shouldnt be the new spelling of Connor. How about Loser? :P

Perhaps... ;) No way to know for sure until you go back in time. ;)
Lol, damn, I need to read the paper more often then! And yes The Queen = Dame Edna in a twisted world ;)
It looks icky without the "u" :P
But it looks like col-ew-r :P
Color looks like it would be pronounced col-or :P
Like the "col" in column and "or" like well or. Unless that is actually how you pronounce it due to different accents :-\
In the South: cu-ler (with the "u" being pronounced like the "u" in "but")
what abou colour?
Pronounced same way Cat does: cuh-lerr ;D
Personally, I don't favour British OR American spelling styles. I mean, flavor and other words of it's kind sound the same, and mean the same thing, so it's a moot point. :P
colour (or spoken cuh-lerr)
looks like it's frence spoken :suffer:
i favor british spelling, but use american.
I favour British spelling. Mostly because we use that spelling in Canada, too. XD
yay for british spellings!
