Congrats on finishing your story, Tawmis. I haven't seen it yet (I have no familiarity with the source material), but the fact that you persevered and completed it even though no one on this forum seemed to respond speaks volumes.

Thank you. It's definitely a work of passion that's very dear to my heart.
And for the source material - you need not be familiar with the game engine (Neverwinter Nights). All you need is a weird sense of humor about two guys - out to slay a dragon - so they can be rich and famous and never have to pay for drinks again - and all the things that go wrong. :)

I really hope for progress on this and a conclusion to this amazing project. I love it so. I know they can't accept money for this but I wish they'd accept volunteers. There are many a programmer fan who'd be willing to help I'm sure! That said too many hands spoil the pot and become unwieldy so it likely is what it is. Just wish there were something that could be done to help. Supporting the other amazing work here I fear also puts pressure on sequels to those instead, the neverending grind of capitalism. I own all (if not almost all) of their other games published. All fantastic. Can't buy episode 5 ever tho, not even pre-order as said. I just languish in my powerlessness along with the rest of you.
Glad this forum is keeping the faith, I do check in still hoping against hope. Thank you all who still post and check in. It means a lot to me and makes me smile knowing the love for this project is still stong.

Been awhile since I posted here... But I've still been doing these (if anyone here is ever watching?) - I just released Episode 64 - only one more episode to go - 65 is the final episode.

Might as well post the play list that gets you at the start - rather than update each of the episode links here...

I'm not on the team, but I know the answer: they can't accept any money for TSL; that's part of the agreement that they made to rescue the game from the Vivendi C&D.
That being said, you can always buy some of the other games they've developed to support them monetarily.

Trying and succeeding. I half expect this was to get me to post, so, congrats. Shalkar, you're now banned for a month, and if this happens again, I will ban you permanently.

Ahem.

I know everyone has been wanting an update, but unfortunately, there isn't much to give an update on. This doesn't mean the project is dead, but other projects that allow us to stay open and pay the people working for us take precedent. I wish I could give you something more substantial, I really do, but I'm afraid I don't have anything for you right now.

That said, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy right now. Take care of yourselves!

Hello everyone. I am hoping this will reach someone on the development team. I check back every so often to see if there is any progress on the finale of the game. I love the story and these characters. I know that this project is a free project and folks have to pay bills. I was curious what actual $ amount it would take to finish it. I know we all want to play the game, but if it really will never be released, would you consider releasing the story so we know how it ends. Of course I would prefer to play the game, but I know times, people, and situations change.

I agree with this, how much can we all pool together and donate to get a finished game? :P
