'Course I do, especially since I talk Flemish, which has absolutely no spelling patterns. :P

lol, sorry i can't help you, i trust my feelings on dutch spelling, and usually i am right.... (well, actually in highschool my grades for dutch were the lowest of all my grades  ;-D only got 70%  :-\) ...but i so don't wanna learn all those spelling rules and so, if i'm right 90% of the time then that is ok by me

Comestas, Neil (I hope spelling is right)

If Dew was going for the Spanish equivalent of "What's up?", "How's it going?" etc., then it should be:

"Como estas, Neil?"

(Or rather, there should be an inverted question mark at the front of "como" as well, but I have no clue what the HTML entity is for it off-hand. ;P)

There is a verb "comer" which means "to eat"... I forget off-hand if "comestas" would be a proper conjugation of it. Somehow I don't think that's what he had in mind, though. XD

When in primary school, I always had 90+ % and, most of the times 100% on spelling tests.

:o :o i don't get it  :S are all the dutch ppl really stupid or so?...100% is like impossible here!! (as a final grade) 90% is doable, 95% really hard.... but 100%?? as a final grade??  :o :o

Congrats, Jeysie...you remembered more Spanish than I did...and it's been right at 5 years since I've taken it as a class.  And I claim to have had an awesome Spanish teacher.  Oh well, can't expect to remember everything!

Heh. Well, don't feel bad, Koko... I don't remember all that much more than those little snippets... just enough to able to translate some of the Public-Safety-Announcement-type thingys on the bus out of boredom. ;P

And it's been about 8 years since I was in a Spanish class. Blerg. I had great Spanish teachers in 8th and 9th grade, but my 10th grade teacher was a wee bit of a wack job.

Like I said: on spelling tests.
* copycat is a sucker for keeping old report cards:
4th grade in primary school: 39/40 (20/20 and 19/20) as a final grade (in spelling)=  97,5 %
5th grade primary school: 38/40 (twice 19/20) = 95%
My 6th grade primary school report card is currently playing hide&go seek but that's probably along the same line.

My opinion on big yellow flowers? As long as they're on bushes that produce berries they're useful. If not, they're just (most of the times) pretty to look at. 8)

Big yellow flowers are pretty... I'm afraid I don't know much about the other things. :)

Hmm. Looking about my own desk, I see...

1. A CD of Teddy Ruxpin songs I need to send off to a UK buddy. ;]

2. A set of ticket stubs for when Harrison and I saw Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood. There's an unintentionally funny disclaimer on the back I've been meaning to type up for your folks, but haven't gotten around to it. ;]

2. CDs of Roller Coaster Tycoon (which I haven't gotten to install and play yet, blah), Jagged Alliance 2 (which I also haven't gotten to play yet, BLAH!), Windows 98SE, and Photoshop 7.

3. Copies of all the episodes of the TV show Space Cases, which I was going to send to someone but they never e-mailed me back their address.

4. A pair of headphones. I usually have a one-earpiece set that I use, but there was a time where I needed to be able to block out listening to my neighbors. :P

5. A photocopy of an interview with Harlan Ellison that I haven't gotten to read yet.

6. A set of Space Cases unused episode scripts that I've partially read.

7. A Staples catalog. Maybe someday I'll actually get Harrison to let me buy him a nice computer desk from it.

8. A flashlight. Comes in handy for rooting around in back of my computer.

Peace & Luv, Liz

The movie was a little odd at first.  The video was a little odd at first, and every subsequent time.  ;P

This was just before Christina Aguilera became skanky.  ;P

I think she's planning on marrying one of her backup dancers (who's already a father with two kids, and the second kid hasn't been born yet!).  ::)  Britney, Britney, Britney...

I don't think she did that already, specifically, so she can't do it again either. 8)

BTW, whatever Britney does or doesn't do, I can't care less. If she wants to ruin her own personal life, let her.

I'm thinking that all the media attention that she got at the beginning of her career...well, I just don't think that she can stand to be out of the limelight anymore...so she just keeps doing crazy things to get attention.  Pretty sad, really.
