Just another excuse to go shoe-shopping! ;D (I have a little shoe fetish...I usually have to reign myself in)

I used to not like to go shoe shopping.  Two pairs of tennis shoes, a pair or two to wear to church/dress up in, and that was it.  But now, I'm beginning to like them :D  Not good when I'm on a limited budget.

I imagine thread 1 will be locked after 100 pages because that has happened to other threads and so only one thread will remain -- no need to clone yourself Kimmie   ;)    :P

I'm just as male as you are, Kimmie. ;)

I'm not big on shoes either. For one, futzing about deciding which shoe to wear for the day isn't my thing. For two, I'm extremely lucky if I can find *one* pair of shoes that fits well and looks good, let alone more than one.

I do, however, technically have four pairs of "shoes".

1: Ankle-high leather-esque boots with a thick sole, wide square 1 1/2 inch heels, and zippers. (I would rather have had flat soled boots, but couldn't find any in my size, grr. 9 1/2 US Ladies, if you're wondering. My mom calls my feet "canal boats".) These are my "everyday" shoes.

2. Dress flats. Black. Round, wide toes. Buckle across the top of the foot.

3. Water shoes. Rubber & mesh shoes designed for wearing while being in water. Very handy for water parks!

4. Ballet-style fuzzy house slippers.

In practice, I only wear the boots. I bought the dress shoes back when I wore more workboot-style boots everyday (which were obviously rather unsuitable for wearing with dresses), but now that I have more stylish everyday boots I don't need them. I never get to go to water parks or pools any more. :( And I usually run around in my socks all day, so I seldom need the slippers.

And that's more than you ever wanted to know about my shoes!

Peace & Luv, Liz

9 1/2 US ladies isn't horrible...while I'm between a 6 1/2 and 7...I've got friends who are 10s and 11s.

Yeah, I knew a girl once who had size 13 feet... ugh, it must have been impossible for her to buy shoes.

My mom wears a size 6ish, but she's a good half-head shorter than I am, too.

I am lucky in that I just manage to squeak into the "shoe sizes typically found in regular stores" range, however I've found the shoe selection gets smaller once you get past the 8s. :P

Poor Harrison is a 10 extra wide (like, 10EEE or something), which gives him some grief sometimes.

The good thing is...UK sizes are different from US sizes...but I wonder how that would convert...

Hmm, well if you saw my shoes they would look big on any given continent, whatever system they use!
