I like the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.  The tales of children visiting another land always fascinated me.  I remember wishing when I was a child of opening a door and ending up in a mysterious land.  Ah!  The joys of childhood (One reason I liked King's Quest was that it was a mysterious land that was filled with fun, adventure and danger!)

I love reading pretty much everything... from fiction, especially science fiction, to encyclopedias, to textbooks, to software manuals, to the ingredients on condiment bottles...

The only genre I can't stand is dime-store romance novels... like, bodice-rippers and stuff. So lame!

I think the more pressing reason is that he's never home.

Well, I could always refer him to a great audiologist for hearing aids...however, if he's completely deaf, then she can't help him much.
