Thanks for replying Kimmie.    I also like bagpipes.  BTW, LN I saw the Dragon Lair collection for $20 at the software store today.  It said it was celebrating the 20th anniversity with all the games included.

The only way I think you're going to find your family tree, for free, is if one of us pays for it.

I know there's geneology.com and some others...but I think you have to pay for all of them...unless they have free trial periods.  My mom spent 22 years going through old records to trace the family.  After we got the 'net, she started posting on geneology websites and all that.  It IS possible to do it by hand, but either way, it's extremely time consuming.

Kimmie: I doubt there are any places that will do all the looking up for you for free.

But there are plenty of geneology resources on the web, some of which are free, as well as amateur websites of people with the same surname and/or family tree who gather together. Try looking in Google for their geneology directory section and searching for websites about your last name, and sending a few e-mails to likely looking people, and you might come up with something.
