All of the "romance" scenes in the second movie made me want to crawl under my seat. Ugh. Somebody tell Hayden he needs a new day job.

Who's playing him in the third?  Or will the guy be in a mask the whole time so it won't matter?

I still think it's Hayden Christianson.

It is...I remember reading that somewhere...I think the same place where I read the offical title for the third one.

I just got back from seeing Catwoman. :X  OMG, whoever hasn't seen it yet, please do NOT see it.  It was way too cheesy, fake (as in too much computer generated graphics, but in a bad way) and Halle saved the movie as much as the captain saved Titanic. ::)

Honestly, I don't know if it was the acting, writing or the directing that sucked, but it was just bad.  And for those of you wanting to see it just for Halle, she was way better in Die Another Day than this movie.  :o

I wasn't planning on watching it, but thanks for the warning anyways.

Questing Character

Neil, for the most part the acting in Catwoman was good (there were a few minor exceptions...and the rich lady who was a not-so-minor exception :P).  What killed the movie was the writing, directing, much of the costuming, the editing, and the special effects.  Other than that, the movie was GREAT. ::)
Anyways, this summer I've seen a lot more movies than I usually do (there are bonuses to being sick :P).  So, here's a short review of each one...
Spider-Man: this is the second time I saw this, and it was still VERY good.
Spider-Man 2: Even better than the first!
X-Men: not quite as good as I had thought it was the first time I saw it, but it was still great. And this time I got to see deleted scenes!
X2: X-Men United: WAAAAAY better than the first!  Terrific!
A Cinderella Story: Slightly better than I expected.  Still not something I'd recommend by a LONG shot.
Catwoman: I believe you saw my mini-rant at the beginning of this...

I've also been watching the TV series "The 4400" which is so so so cool.  There's a marathon from 4 EST to...uhm...some time...on Sunday which should show all the episodes in order. So anyone who gets USA on their TV, I *highly* recommend watching that marathon!  I already said I'd tape it for Jeysie...maybe she could make copies of the tape(s) for anyone who's interested and can't watch?  She's more likely to know how to do it than I am. :)

I just got back from "The Village"!  :D

It was so not as scary as the commercials made it seem, there were a few scary moments though. XD  Overall, it was a pretty good movie. :) It's also one of those movies that leaves you thinking once you know the ending. 8)

My sister saw it and I think she is wanting to see it a second time (either that, or she's already seen it twice!).  Anyway, from what I hear, it's better than the reviews make it.  Of course, when do the reviews ever do a movie justice??

Just got back from The Princess Diaries 2.  It was really good.  A little corny, but that's what makes the movie.  I mean, it's based on a girl who is so uncoordinated who is trying to become queen of a country! :P  Anyway, I really enjoyed it.

J-ROC, did you actually watch the movie, or is that just what you think of it?

Jeysie

There was a trailer for a movie called "The Forgotten" that aired during the Olympic coverage that looked pretty interesting. It'll be nice to be interested in a movie that isn't a sequel or based on something... hasn't happened in a while.

Peace & Luv, Liz

koko_99_2001

Yeah...The Forgotten looks good.  So does Cellular.  And of course, Vanity Fair with Reese Witherspoon.

Jersey Gril -> Surprisingly good and touching.  Rather enjoyed it.

The Punisher -> Decent, but kind of boring and not as stylish or cool as I would have hoped.
