I agree, Ferris Bueller's Day Off does kick butt. Koko, you need to watch it!

I identified way too much with Cameron, the poor fellow. I spent most of the movie wanting to give him a hug...

Random useless trivia: The actor who played Cameron played Captain John "We're getting all the good stuff on Tuesday" Harriman in Star Trek: Generations.

ok, finally got some time to catch up with my movie-seeing thingy, so perhaps i'll post here more often (or not)  :P

Saw wimbledon this morning, it was a okay movie. kinda predictable, but luckily not too boring :S ...it at least kept me from falling asleep in the train  :P

I kinda like Paul Bettany performance (always have; beautiful mind, knights tale, etc) and ...o yeah, kirsten dunst plays in it too, ...she always reminds me of a girl I know  :)

Lessee...

Harrison wants to see Fahrenheit 9/11, but he wants to see Bowling With Columbine first.

Looking forward to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban coming out on DVD next month since I didn't get to see it in the theater. Plus Harrison said he liked what he saw of the first HP movie, so maybe I can nag him to watch this one with me.

I want to go see The Forgotten, but Harrison doesn't want to see it, and going to the movies alone sucks. Poo.

We both did go to see Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Very fun movie... a fun stylistic romp throwback to the 1950's black & white B-Movie sci-fi serials. Plus Dex was the coolest character. Harrison didn't like it though... figures. Maybe it's just as well we never go to movies any more... he never likes any of them. :P (Although I get the feeling that Harrison was expecting an epic-deep-plot movie from Sky Captain... which it definitely wasn't intended to be...)

Fahrenheit 9/11 was an ...ehhhh ...intresting movie :P ...nicely put together,

I thought the director made an excellent work of not implying anything and not showing his own opinion  ::) ::) :P

lol!

Jeysie, from what I hear, The Forgotten is a great movie.  I'm waiting for National Treasure to come out.  And then, of course, in December, The Phantom of the Opera is coming out ;D

hmmm, from what I've read the Forgotten doesn't seem to me a really great movie, but then again, ...might be worth to see  ::)

FINALLY! Somebody named a movie that I'd like to see! :D

National Treasure's trailer/advertisement was good, so I'm hoping it will be a decent movie. :)

Always wondered what that eye on dollar bills was about :P

B'rrr

never heard of that movie ; \ ...what it's about?

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing it won't sell well outside the US. :P

I'll quote IMDb

QuoteSince childhood, Benjamin Franklin Gates has known that he is decended from a long line of people whose job is to guard a treasure hidden by the Founding Fathers, who hid clues to its whereabouts in the country's currency and on the back of the Declaration of Independence. Now, he has learned of a plot to steal the Declaration, and has only one option: steal it himself. Even if he pulls off this monumental task, keeping the treasure safe is still going to be incredibly hard, especially since the FBI has also gotten wind of the scheme.

Weird plot, but it caught my attention. XD

Mary Jane

I saw The Grudge a few nights ago.  I didn't scream, but it was propably the scariest movie that I have ever seen.

Some say its the "All Seeing Eye of Lucifer" (But thats a whole other conspiracy for another day), and some say its just the "All Seeing Eye."

I've missed Shrek 2 and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban :'(
When I finally get the time to go to the movies, they stop showing the only two movies I wanted to see this year.
Fraps :(
