Squirrels are punks. Always throwing acorns and nuts at people... And they miss more then half the time!

When we talk about normal squirrels, do you mean red squirrels, western grey, eastern grey, or the weird eastern greys with the black fur?

I don't know...but we did have a pet squirrel for a little while.  He was orphaned and we (I was in college, so it was Momma and my sis) fed him and took care of him until he was old enough to be let go...

I know of a guy, that told me that he caught one when he was a kid. When he got a hold of that squirrel, it bit him, and wouldn't let go. He said that he had to go to the hospital, to get it off of him. He also said he needed several stitches(obviously).

NEVER, EVER CATCH A SQUIRREL!

I wouldn't try to grab them though.

Its the 'practically tame' part that worries me.  

Anyway, We have tons of human friendly squirrels on campus, if anyone's interested in a pet squirrel...
