I'm just glad I found an extremely cute and unique cat avatar.  In fact, I think that's what I looked up on Yahoo: "cat avatars."  I had gotten tired of skimming through posts, and seeing my avatar up, then realizing that wasn't my avatar; someone else had chosen the same one as their's.

When looking for my avatar (a long time ago) I didn't know (yet) it was called an avator, so I just searched for cat pictures. Put a few into a page on my homepage, put some text on it telling another forum member what was my favorite and how I would like it to be altered, emailed the url to her, and she did the rest. After all, she offered to, and I was, and still am, quite rubbish at editing pictures.
