Okay, so I randomly pick the books...as long as they're not MINE, I don't see the problem. ;P

If you follow a recipe, then you cook.  And if you cook, that makes you a chef...at least in my book! :P

LOL sure!  Actually, baked potatoes I still haven't figured out how to do properly on the BBQ.  No matter how long I keep em in for, they never seem to get completely cooked.  :-\

Try cutting them into halves.

I prefer to do my potatoes as chunks or relatively thin slices on the BBQ.

Butter up some tinfoil, put some garlic salt and steak spice on them....oh so gooood.

So Cat, what is your favorite kitchen and why?

I think the greek or Italian is mine.

Favorite kitchen?  My favorite food is just about anything Italian.  Also enjoy some Mexican food...but I'm very picky and don't care for hunks of pepper and onions in my food.  So it's difficult for me to eat most Mexican without feeling like I'm taking my food apart before I put it back together it eat!

Favorite kitchen...hmmm...
Well, I think kitchens should have wooden floors.  They just look nicer that way. XB
:-\ It's probably more practical if the floors are tile though....

I would love to have hardwood floors for a kitchen.  But then I think of everything that would drop on in over time...water, crumbs, etc.  So while hardwood floors would be nice, tile is more practical (it's also expensive...so with my luck, I'll just have to stick with linolium...)

Make sure you have new linoleum.  In the 50s, it had asbestos in it. EEP!

Well for all you neophytes in chef-lingo, a "kitchen" is a term used to describe a country or region's special type of food that sets them apart from other foods. Whether it is the use of spices or mixture of ingredients or totally new ingredients or all of the above. It is more commonly used about the more known countries, such as Italy, China, France, etc. I don't think there is a particular Swedish kitchen for instance.... :(

Mission accomplished. ;)

Hey returning to the topic at hand. Cat, what characteristic, in you, do you think is the best and which one do people appreciate in you the most?

The image we have of ourselves isn't very often the one being received by others.

Good point here!  That's one of the things I like about acting, manipulating how people perceive you.  It's not something that you can normally do as yourself, but as a character a decent actor should be able to make people perceive you as the character they're portraying perceives you.
Okay, I know, using the word manipulate makes me sound semi-evil there...
And I'm also not entirely sure what my point was...even if I had a point.  Yay me!
