J-R: Perhaps... it was something like 9 years ago, so I don't remember much about how I felt.

The *only* time I remember "getting smaller" was when I had to stay at a foster home for a while. We'd have a bowl of cereal before leaving in the morning for school, then my foster mother would cook up a dinner when we got home. (A quite good dinner at that!) She completely didn't understand the concept of a snack. (If I asked her for some fruit or something sometime after dinner, she'd ask if I was hungry because I didn't eat enough at dinner. She didn't really understand the concept of eating something just because it tastes good. Just as well, I suppose.)
I'd end up not eating lunch, because the food at my school was horrible. Finally, I had to make a 45 minute walk to the house from school every weekday. Dunno how much I lost exactly, but my pants got awfully loose.
Of course, I'd never be able to pull that off again... if I tried eating only two meals now, I'd be headachy and tummy-grumbly for most of the day.

(Yeah, I know that's not exactly healthy to only eat twice a day, but it *is* the only way I ever lost weight!

)
