Ok after that pointless comment :P Jon as usual making the life of the thread and perverting the whole haven section lol, as in the latest topic here shaving :P yeah razors are the devil, if I had high pain tolerance I would probably wax even my armpits, the only place I can tolerate wax is my legs and it hurts like a b****, I also went into a torture once and borrowed my mom's machine, it's a piece of crap that takes out HAIR BY HAIR from the root, I have never felt worse pain in my life... lol, no wonder why she bought it and NEVER uses it hahaha, now that s*** is WORSE than waxing, horribleeee. Seriously though, I would actually would be willing to afford a treatment to be hair free! bye bye stupid unwanted hair :D that's something I certainly KNOW I wont miss if gone forever :P

As for waxing, I've considered waxing my face. :S  When I was in the army, I had to shave my face every day...it irritated my skin sooo much. :S  At least at my last job, I could get away with shaving every two days.

As regarding the shaving ack, everyday is like... really torture :S why you had to shave everyday? was it really like a rule you couldn't work around or something?  :-X you also had to keep your hair as short as on the pics? was that a regular thing or they told you to do that too? (I honestly, don't know how that works at all, I didn't even know you had to shave everyday)


btw you speaking of the army reminds me of michael's haircut... he does looks like a Marineeee <3 lol, cute :P

...ok, yeah so yeah shaving everyday is bad :P

Well, during basic training (boot camp) you had to get your head shaved at least once a week.  After that, it could grow out a bit, but you had to keep it neat and trimmed on the sides and the back (with a tapered cut in the back, "tight and tapered" as they would say) You could have it a bit longer on the top (up to three inches, I believe)  On the top, my hair is actually shorter now than it was when I was in the army. :D
And it was the rules to shave every day.  No scruff whatsoever.   In the navy, you're allowed to grow a neatly kept beard, which I believe is due to tradition, as well as they aren't usually in as much Chemical warfare as the army is. (I may be mistaken, but that's how it was explained to me)

I hate my skin, for the most part. It's always covered in acne, blotchy coloring, stretch marks (Yes, I have those, isn't it sad? :P), and purple follicles.

BUT, there is one thing I lucked out on... shaving for me is fairly painless. All I use is a disposable razor and water, right after I shower, and that's it. I seldom get nicks (only if I get to close to my lip or ankles)... I do get some red bumps, but it's usually managable. In fact, for some odd reason, if I use shaving cream or soap I get *more* nicks and bumps than if I don't.

So while I'm stuck having to shave every day (especially my face), it at least isn't a huge hassle. But I wouldn't mind finding something that would let me go longer without shaving, or removed the hair close enough to get rid of the stupid faint shadow I always have on my upper lip, no matter what. :P

Though I have to admit I don't know why I bother shaving my body at all... it's not like anyone ever sees it. I don't wear shorts or sleeve-less tops in public because my skin is icky, and Harrison doesn't care if I happen to wear my short PJs or nightgowns while fuzzy.

I'm like you, Jeysie.  I don't wears shorts...but I do like sleeveless tops.  Shaving isn't a problem with me.  I use a disposable razor (why spend $7 for one that still has to have the blade replaced??) but I do use shaving creme (I like to see where I've already been) :P  And on the occasions I remember to do so, lotion afterwards...makes it feel smoother!

Kissing a guy with lip or chin hair feels kind of like kissing a steel wool pad. But I like body hair... it's kind of fun-feeling to pet. :flirt:

I really don't know.  I know I don't care for TONS of body hair.  I like gotees, but I don't really care for beards.  Probably because both my father and brother are clean shaven, so that's what I know.
