Thanx for welcoming me back everyone..sorry did not respond but I lost this thread.  As for why I did what I did..had my reasons but I'd rather not talk about it.  Rune of Westhaven is the name I use for most of my screennames anyways.  Rune800 is just what AIM would accept when I was registering.  Just a little explanation on that. lol

I realise I am not "new" anymore.  I have seen some of you around chat and in a few of the other threads.  I really did just want to finally get a proper introduction posted and let you know who I "really" am!

The readers digest version:
Grew up in the US
Moved to Australia
Became an Australian citizen (dual citizen)
Graduating in a week
Studied Computer Games Programming
Have worked for 2 1/2 years for an online game
Older then I care to admit

So that's about it in a nutshell.  Other then that I am quite vocal in terms of education and gender issues in games.  I have spoke at 4 conferences / events in the past year.  Managed to get interviewed for t.v. just a couple of days ago.

Looking forward to digging around in forums a bit more and getting to know the good and bad sides of everyone.  I know that I am going to be very afraid and will never be the same again!
