Bl**dy terrorist attacks on my front door!
I suppose I better thank whatever deity I hold dear that I was only on the fringes of London today, having only just been in it recently (suffering the worst effects of public transport) I am sure glad today I was nowhere near the worst the mayhem.  :(

Cat; Don't worry about Birmingham...was a genuine threat I hear but my mate seems to be okay (BTW I seriously doubt the whole of Birmingham was evacutated...being one the mightiest cities in the "Black Country" it would be rather difficult through sheer logistics...knowing the Brummies anyway they would simply stay put anyway...no blooming terrorists going to spoil there day! Unfortunatly many American clients are now staying away as a result; the "The U.K is now terribly dangerous" scenario. (Sigh)

The Good; Ace gliding lesson today! Excellent thermals apparently! (definately an alternative to powered flight!)  :)

The Bad; My friend in London is moving! (Not because of the bombs...she was going to go anyway!) I can still contact her via e-mail but the chance of me seeing her in person is slim.  :(

The Consiliatory; Now recovered contact with a friend whom I thought had gone away forever!  :)

Yeah it was only the town centre in and around Broad Street so only 20,000 people had to be evacuated :) (not me!)
