Well, blond would look ridiculous, too. Which mostly leaves... brown... which I already have. I don't think I'd want to dye my hair black, plus my hair is already rather dark anyway.

My hair actually has natural red highlights, but they only show up in the sunny days of late Spring and Summer.

hahah you say "brown" as if it werent interesting at all, and I say why dont you check out loreal or revlon or any other brand with variety omg there are so many beautiful browns! your hair is already brown so it will just give in lights to it, plus you get to experience it in a different shade or something, it would cost you nothing to try! , you may never know and actually get a nice one which would look great on you and enjoy it

Well, IMHO brown is boring on me. I know there's a bunch of different shades, but I just don't find much excitement in trying to just be a different type of brunette. As far as browns go, I'm OK with my natural shade, it's the fact that my hair is any shade of brown at all that I don't like. My face and voice are boring and nondescript enough as it is... having brown hair and eyes just worsens the effect.

well I do believe if you tried before bitching about the colors which you havent tried, may susprise you . I'm telling you because I got myself surprised with it, since november last year I started dying my hair with brown shades, and yeah i think brown its not boring, in fact its certainly gorgeous, in fact, I think its a delicate color to take care of!, but so far I love my light brown and Im keeping it woo that's why I tell you, you certainly got nothing to lose since your natural hair color IS brown

BUT since you love red hairs! you can try a brown with some red on it (forgot the name of the color), and I seriously doubt it would look bad on you I think it would look good plus with some red on it you may like it a lot too, I mean a brown with some red on it (maybe a dark tone for you to not feel so ackward as to start with) haha, you can try

I've got a friend with MUCH darker hair than you, Liz, and she dyes it read all the time. Noticabbly too! Just go for one of the darker shades of it, and be sure to leave it in for the full time (ie, if 15 mins is recommended, do 20 mins).  It can't hurt to try, right? Hair dye can always be grown out or washed out if you don't like it. That's the best part, it's easy to fix! And that way, you can say you tried it, too.

Go for it! Dye your hair! Wear plaid! Go crazy! Bwaahahah!

Like Alex said: if you want a different color of eyes, colored contacts are the answer.

As far as hair color is concerned: I really don't mind the color. Black hair can be beautiful, blond hair can be beautiful, brown hair can be beautiful, red hair too... Just depends on the person I guess...
