Ugly...eh...I've got plenty to share. This is a weird negative black and white type pic from a few months ago...I cut my hair...thank god.

Heh. I have tried growing out my hair, but it just doesn't work anymore. When I was a kid, my scalp was less oily, and my hair was less thick. But now I have a very oily scalp... I literally can shower in the morning, and have my hair start getting icky by afternoon. Short hair hides the greasiness better. And when my hair is short, it has this great natural wave to it... but when my hair is long, the thickness of it weighs out the wave so I'm stuck with dull, straight hair. So I'd rather have short, clean, fun hair than long, greasy, limp hair.

Not to mention that short hair is easy to care for... wash it for a few minutes in the shower, give it a few towel rubs when I'm done washing up, run my fingers through it once while it's wet, and once again while it's dry. And that's it. Taking care of long hair meant spending many minutes scrubbing it, and my mom spending a long time brushing it out afterwards, and having to pick out tangles. (I never once figured out how to properly brush my own long hair, despite many attempts at the matter.) And by the end of the day, my long hair was always a tangled mess again.

I'm just going to have to hope that someday there's at least one guy living near me that likes short hair. (Even Harrison's admitted he likes long hair better.)

Hmm. Now that I think about it, I was assuming that by "scattered photos", you meant scattered *files*, as in, having to get pictures from the scanner-enabled PC to your PC. But you may have meant "scattered photos" as in the actual photos being all over your house. Damn, I spent too much time using computers.

If I meant files, I would have speficied they were files.

As for the networking cable... well, you could technically run a cable from a computer that's upstairs to a computer that's downstairs, but I would think it usually would be more trouble than it's worth, at least in a non-commerical environment.

I see at my feet, a Cat5 UTP cable running from my computer to the chimney shaft nearby, where it goes down and works it way back to the switch. Networking rules! After all, since the cable modem is downstairs, and I'm upstairs, I need a network to be able to surf (and post on this forum)! And since my dad and my brother also like to surf, I need a switch.
