When will kq9 be published?
There is no release date of the game since we are still in heavy mass game production, but I can say we got around 40% of the product final done. What I can say its that you shall find the game HERE, kq9.org its the unique link that will keep you informed first about what goes on there, so stay around we got BIG surprises for you all next year.

When can ppl download it?
You will be able to download it  here, and as I say we can give more accurate aprox dates till next year

Is it for free?
YES, it is for free

Do you use the walkthrough to play?
We got no plans on release walkthough of the game after the release of the real game, at least not so far, hahah its taking a lot of work to come on with a son in depth plot, a 3d engine, new more exciting features and a movie like display for the game, that at least you would have to give it a try like that before we ever consider releasing such spoilers like that , lol, at least try to play it first without it

I'm not worried.  I just wanted to let beernutts know that the game is progressing.  And perhaps, when the voice recording is completed somewhere in March, we may release a demo to the public.  We don't currently have any plans to, but like Jeysie said in another post, it's nice to show off what's been done.  And we are highly motivated now.  Our whole team is.  We've had people come and go, but the core of our team has stayed pretty much the same.  And now we have even better artists and programmers than we had before - and they are VERY dedicated to this game .

Anyway, beernutts, you can continue to post what you feel - it's a way to vent frustration.  It just tells me you're very excited about this game.  And we are too.

I've heard of quite a few crunches where everything is coming together and long hours are put in to finish the last 10-20 % of a game. At least with KQ9 there isn't a rush as it will not be sold at a predetermined date, so guys, get it perfect! Or at least fun and playable. You can always release patches if there's one or two bugs that were missed.

I'll be happy even if I don't see the game until I graduate college, as long as I know there's progress.
