People tend to avoid me. I've been told I look/act like an English sentry(I think they're reffering to no emotion detected, and the way I normally stand around in a room).  XD

Quote from: Yonkey on August 13, 2004, 09:43:02 PMUsually they learn, and if not, just start walking towards them while you say it, as if you're ready to beat them to a pulp.  8)

That would work if:

1. I was scary/intimidating-looking. (Harrison says I'm funny-looking in the literal sense when I'm angry. Bah.)

2. The co-worker in question wasn't a 50-something guy, who, while not tough-looking per se, isn't a push-over either.

3. It was a bigger office. The main reason I haven't complained or been pushy is because everyone else has been there for several years and are all used to each other's quirks. I have a feeling that the ribbing I'd get after I got cranky about some of the jokes would be worse than the current ribbing.

Note to self: Stop getting jobs in small offices. :P

You could always act like Q does on the forums.  XD

or you could look at them(with a serious look), and tell them(in a serious tone)...

I'm a Fire Breathing Pumpkin.

Then walk away.

*wonders what the results would be*

Clicking clicky pens, hitting himself with a metal bucket, tackling people, making KQ robots, eating Connor pie, trying to eat newbies, claiming the Asylum is a living being, letting penguins fly into his head, galloping without a horse.....

Yonkey

Ahh... insane is the word you were looking for.  ;P

What, the being subtle part, or the being insane part? ;P

And good to see you back, Jael! Saw you on MSN a few times, but you were always busy. :-\

I don't remember galloping without a horse....:-\

Anyways, try to be a subtle twerp.  It works at school.  Say things like "I like that shirt/tie!  Maybe I should get one for my four year old cousin."  If they get offended, you can always say "I'm so sorry!  I never meant to hurt your feelings!"  But you have to say it seriously.
Ok, so I only do that at school once in a while.  Most of the time I'm not a subtle twerp--just a jerk if you're annoying. XB

Don't you remember? You galloped around on your imaginary horse. Cat told you to get off her back, and you said you couldn't wait for J-ROC/Jeysie to get a hold of what she said.  :-X

Questing Character

OMG!!! I DO remember that!!

Both, I suspect. Though I was referring to the subtle part ;B

Generally, the only time you and I are on MSN together, it's 5:30am and I'm just checking my e-mail before getting ready for work. That might explain it.

But you know, if you would get on MSN at a reasonable hour of the day, I wouldn't have that problem. Americans *shakes head* ;P

Luckily, I'm " Livin' on Tulsa time".  ;D

(chuckle) Yeah, I have an online pal in Adelaide, and trying to catch him in IMs is a somewhat rare event... usually only happens if I get up very early, or stay up very late.

You could get it working on lower specs, but it wouldn't run smoothly(I'm used to doing that sort of thing, and I'm going to have to start doing it again soon).  :(

It requires XP?

I shouldn't be surprised, but I'd rather it worked on 9x systems also.  :(
