I've just remembered something to b.iatch about!!

Boyfriends. Not mine obviously, I dont butter my bread that way, but female friends boyfriends. Why the f*** do they always have to go super insecure whenever their GF has a close friend who is male (ME!). FFS I just dont get it, 2 of my friends I've known for about 5 years both end up practically ignoring me cus their dickhead boyfriends seem to think anything male is a threat to them! Meh, very meh indeed...

Not sure if this helps any, but personally as soon as I notice a girl has a boyfriend, I lose all interest in em.  A lot of the times I'm like:   Eww WTF does a secsay thing like her see in that fugly dude?!  (heh, well I'd use a bit more colourful language, but you get the picture ) So yeah, it's a major turn-off.  

I have a few female friends with boyfriends, but usually they don't bring them along if we're all gonna hang out somewhere.  It does kind of kill the mood, unless we know the guy & he's cool to be around with.

If it makes you feel better, Alex... I've had my male friends' girlfriends get jealous over me before... despite the fact that I never seriously flirt with a "taken" guy. Bad for one's karma and all that.

And if it makes you feel better, Yonkey, I have wondered exactly what a few of my male friends saw in their girlfriends...

1.- I've been the jealous gf of his friends lol

Heh. Truth be told, I'd probably have a hard time not being jealous myself... the only guy who'd pick me is someone who can't get anyone else, so I'd always be paranoid that eventually some other girl would be interested in him.

And my gal pals did wonder what I saw in my ex-boyfriend... although it was less that he was a jerk or anything, and more that he was just a bit of a dork.

hmmmm.... my first girlfriend left me with for her 'just a friend' ; / ...still I'm not jealous (well, till a certain level ; )

...if someone likes me a lot, i trust her, and it is only a token of her affection if she prefer me as her boyfriend above her other (male)friends. If she decides to leave me for another friend (like my first gf did) it is only better for me (even if it still hurts)

I never get intrested in woman who already has a boyfriend (that i know of ; ) and the moments i did have a gf i lost intrest in other females at all...

I'm the same way.  I always figured if a girl liked me, she would just end up liking someone else instead.
I've spent most of my life being a "special guy"...but just not special enough for anyone to date.  So it's hard for me to believe that anyone would feel that way about me.  So if said girl has some other boy in their life, I get all retarded jealous like.  And if anything, it pushes them away instead of bringing them closer.
But I'm a fool and I'm bound to die alone.
That's alright though...I can't afford to maintain a girlfriend, anywho.

That sounds so much like me, J-R. I've always been the "best friend"... the guy would tell me everything, and cry on my shoulder, and all that... and then just be friends with me and lust after some other girl. The only time they'd get lovey-dovey is if the other girl didn't want them, or they had a girlfriend but they were really having problems... and it's like, "Hey, you didn't want me before you got/went after that other girl, don't come to me now and try to take advantage of the fact that I'm affectionate and sympathetic and everything."

It's kind of frustrating... I'm boy-crazy (ha, like you all couldn't tell by this point), but it's a pretty one-sided affair, so to speak... plus I have to admit I don't have anything offer a guy better than another girl could.

I'm one of those people who always become the friend rather than the  friend Most the time I don't really care as theres only ever been two girls I could imagine going out with and both of them were taken boohoo. Heh anyway about this boyfriends thing I wouldn't really mind if they were just casual friends who I'd known for a year or so but one of them I've known my whole life (no kidding) and the other for nearly 7 years and its like all that seems to dissapear when their boyfriends are on the scene (who are both stupid btw and do nothing for them blah blah )

I'm sure that I'll meet my soulmate one day and we'll grow old together and buy a house in cornwall when we retire hahaha.

 Don't say that about yourself...because you couldn't be more wrong.  You're a unique person, as if everyone else.  No one else has your personality, no one else has your smile, no one else has your laugh, no one else has your eyes (unless you sold them on the black market, silly girl!).  

Point is, that EVEN IF someone did have some similar traits, they don't have your complete package.  No one will have all the exact same combination of traits.  Just cuz you've met some retards along the way that are too blind to see that, it does NOT mean that there's anything wrong with you.

I know there's a perfect woman out there for me...they just don't live within a 6000 km radius.

J-R: (thinks to her geography a bit) So you're claiming your perfect woman is on another planet? Yeah, that sounds about right for me and men at this point.

And... I know I'm unique... I just have a hard time believing that I could be the right woman for some guy over someone else, seeing as how I'm plain-looking, don't have much of a social life, think stuff like website coding and reading tech manuals is fun, and my sole talents are being efficient and organized. Oh, and I'm intelligent, strong-willed (read:stubborn), bluntly honest, and independent, too. Any guy who likes me the best is either really boring or a masochist, IMHO. (Or both.)

I do believe in the concept of soulmates... but I feel I already met mine, and he's not interested in me romantically, so I'm busy looking for second-best.
