Actually, about the whole LCD issue... I got my 17" HP F70 for around $350 + Tax. Just have to look around.

LCD's are affordable now, that's why the technology and sales, have taken off!

Ok, I feel stupid now.  I thought Alex was being supportive about my lack of MSN...with no way to unblock it.  Turns out, everyone's having difficulty.  *sigh*

Yeah, you can get reasonably priced LCD's, but you just have to shop around.  And, I wouldn't suggest getting some no-name brand, since this baby's supposed to last you for years (I usually keep monitors for around 4 years before getting a new one)!
