I haven't been to a Target store, in a long time.

Hee! I was gonna say, I like Target a lot better than Wal-Mart. Target's got the same price range, but is cleaner, better organized, actually has associates on the floor, and you don't end up waiting until old age at the register.

- I am currently feeling totally baffled at the gymnastics events.

They used to have paper bags(yes, not plastic), but either they started using plastic ones, or the Super 1 Foods are better in Louisiana.

we don't have american comercials here (we don't even have walmart around here either, not even one as far as I know in SA) so honestly I think I know but I've never seen or been to one of those, obviously we have our own franchises (sp?) around SA and inside Vzla itself of course, different market different business running I guess some do make it and some others just dont.

Thanks for clearing it up though I thought it was a store but I thought it was like a food chain at first lol

I think Super 1 must be a Southern thing, Louisiana. Up my way, Big Y is the big supermarket chain. I'd never shop at either Target or Wal-Mart for groceries... not worth it.

Say: Trust me, you're not missing much with no Wal-Mart. I think Wal-Mart's done a lot to sink US job trends into poorly paid and poorly benefitted disposable jobs.

I'm not sure of that. I guess I'll find out, when/if Cat posts about it.  

The only Super 1 Foods I've seen in Texas, is a little out of the way, to go to often.

We use Shoppers Food Warehouse. We tried Wegman's for a while but some of their tempting stuff is quite expensive. Better to go with cheap temptations...

Whether you like Wal-mart or not, youve gotta respect what it represents... Super Wal-mart's have everything known to man, food, clothing, electronics, barbershops...

I know a guy, that called Wal-Mart a little company(from the way he was talking, I doubt he'd ever seen one). I think he was from California, but i might be wrong about that.

I don't respect Wal-Mart at all. It's cluttered and dirty, the register lines are horrible, and it's almost impossible to find knowledgable employees on the floor. Of course, the whole reason for that is that you're seldom going to get good people who are going to work in a job that pays minimum wage with no benefits. And customers wonder why retail quality is so poor.

I think all small companys, when they become big, tend to be worse than when they started.

To be competitive when they're small, they have to be top notch. To be competitive when they're big, they have to turn a profit via cutting corners. Downsize the employees to upsize the revenue. In the end, its kind of sad.
