As long as the cat doesn't meow out of tune that shouldn't be a problem.

Well, I can't promise that he won't be out of tune...but he's got such a loud meow that if he meows right into the mic, it might blow your ear out!  I don't think I'm going to put you guys through that!

Well then...if he triest to be recorded next time, then I'll leave it and let you guys hear it.  But Neil, Alex, and Kimmie can testify that Koko knows when the mic is on and is very unlikely to meow if he knows someone's listening.  Hmm, maybe his meowing into the mic when I was singing was him complaining about my singing...

I'll see what I can do, but I can't promise anything...I'm going to be headed to school on Monday evening and I'll be gone for a few days (meaning away from the cat and the mic).  Like I said, I'll do what I can!

Oh, come on, Jeysie!  I used Neil's version! For some reason, I couldn't follow on the MIDI that was sent to me several months ago...  You can do it!

I could only find two MIDI's of that song.  One of them was way off, and the other had some messed up notes.  So I just used the original.

I could use a MIDI, but I wouldn't be able to learn the lyric melody that way. (I've never heard the song at all.)

I loved that CD when it came out so it wasn't that hard for me, but still I had to listen to the song a bunch of times so I knew where she paused and emphasized certain words.

As for a Rainy duet, I'll just have to be sure to sing sometime when he's hungry.

Maybe you could use ours. She sings when she's hungry, when she wants to go outside, when she wants to come back in, when you pet her, and, most importantly, also for no reason at all, so getting her to meow is as easy as it can get.

My free time is also very limited and non-transferrable.

Yeah, Koko is a siamese, so he meows VERY often.  Like CC said, when he's hungry...he doesn't go outside, but he meows at the door...he has a seperate really deep meow when he uses the litter box...but he KNOWS when the mic is on and he shuts-up!  It's insane!
