I was going thru the "unread posts". I saw the thread preview, it said something about the 3Dmodelers had been making the game characters minus clothes(for fun), they were joking(I was around during Grundy's censored post, so I wasn't sure of it),

The GOOD: the lawn mower is fixed...wasn't my fault at all!  Which means, if the grass dries in time, I've got to finish mowing before I head to work.  (BTW, this same post is in the BAD thread--just to save you guys some trouble.)

Good things:

Went to the thrift store today. I got:

A hardcover collection of the first three Rincewind novels in the Discworld series. (Heck, I've been meaning to start reading the series anyway...)

A paperback novelization of Dark City. (The movie kicked butt, so...)

A paperback collection of short stories called More Tales From the Twilight Zone by Rod Serling. (The series kicked butt, so...)

A boxed copy of Woodruff and the Schnibble, complete with CD, manual, and strategy guide.

What was even funnier was when I checked out. The Woodruff box didn't have any obvious pricing, and there didn't seem to be a price list for games anywhere, so I asked the clerk how much it was. He pointed at a "B' someone wrote on the box, and said "That bar code means it's $1.99."

Me: Really?
Clerk: Yeah. Is that OK?
Me: (non-chalantly) Sure. (inside: Ooh! Ooh!)

Then he indicated the Twilight Zone and Discworld books, both of which were unmarked, and said the former was $0.69, and the latter was $1.99, and asked if *that* was OK. "Sure. (Ooh! Ooh!)" The Dark City novel was marked $0.99.

Total cost: $6.99. I looooooove thrift shops.
