I think that after 5 years my Scooby-Doo clip-on watch is finally dying. Considering that's about 4 years longer than all of the more-expensive watches I've had previously have lasted, I'm pretty content. Of course, with my luck, I won't be able to find another digital clip-on. (The whole reason I bought that one to begin with was because all the other clip-ons available were analog. )

Gross thing:

There's this guy who always rides the same bus I do in the morning whose head and shirt are always covered in white dots. I dunno if it's just really bad dandruff or something worse, but, ew yuck.

And here I thought I was home free since it seems now that summer has gone I no longer ride the same morning bus with the lady who would always tell her personal life stories to no one in particular loud enough for the entire bus to hear.

Depressing thing:

It's official, I have Useless Job #11. What's worse is that this is the only job so far I haven't screwed up.

Probably... it is a pretty minor bad. I hope I can find another digital clip-on... otherwise I'll have to buy a normal watch and hook it around my beltpark loop or something. (shrug)

Nah, it's pretty short hair... just, ew. I've seen worse, but only on a one-time basis.

I'm a paperwork processor! I mean, seriously, I spend all day doing nothing but filing papers, printing documents, and stuffing envelopes. And of course, although the bins are always empty by day end, they're full again tomorrow. It's like Sisyphus pushing the rock in Tartarus, except that Sisyphus at least did really crafty stuff to earn his punishment.

Not to mention that 50%+ of the stuff I file could feasibly be replaced by digital file processing anyway, but my office is way too technophobic.

In short, I feel like a robot. Maybe useless isn't the right word, per se... more like disposable. The sort of job where you could have a robot do it and nobody would notice a difference.

I would... except that I don't have the skills for anything more interesting.

It's not entirely the job itself that depresses me, it's more the fact that this job honestly fits my skill set perfectly, which means I'm inherently robotic. The kids back in my school days *did* used to call me the "Walking Computer"...

hahaha! and to think I went to the service place of Telcel JUST to ask that!! I had absolutly NO idea how to change from "telcel" to "SAY" I felt really slow lol, remember I asked the guy who worked there, he was  nice and went like "what should I write?" and he did it in less than a minute!!! I asked him what the hell did he do to change the screen thingy, and he was like oh yeah you write down 3001 blah blah blah... he also told me like "It's Nokia programming" and hahaha this is the first time I own a Nokia, I used to have motorola before, sad thing is I don't remember anything what he said, I should have written it down!... well, at least I'm stuck with my name

there's got to be some forums in nokia place right? or something like that, I don't know, Im gonna keep looking online to see if I can find the "guide to change stuff in your Nokia for Dummiez" hahaha

btw I got SNAKE II in my phoneeeee

everything is falling to pieces

my life and my house

the plumber has just been round knocking tiles off the walls, theres a leak in the kitchen caused by the bathroom, we need new taps, new toles etc and ofcourse the charge of him faffing around for about an hour. theres no hot water, mums car broke down, friends are now leaving and i wont see them till xmas, we keep getting weird phone calls.
