You can discuss politics, history, whatever as much as you like in private.  The fact that you've chosen this thread to discuss them shows that you have a particular point of view on the topic which may or may not differ with others' point of view.

Anyway, the King's Quest IX forums are not the place to discuss topics like these.  Take it to e-mail or MSN.

Mind you, having said that I do acknowledge why politics is considered a form of herecy. Political ideals and some of the more wicked people behind them did cause me many problems for a time. Suppression of ideas does have it's uses in the long term (I know, I have had the unenviable task of doing so myself.)

Anyhoo, enough of this, let us move onto to err...jollier...bad stuff! ;)

Well, at least you can make a choice between friendship and lonliness, I can't and I'm stuck with the latter!

mind u...if u think about it daniel...look how mnay are signed up to these forums...and have like either no posts or minimal numbers...u may get ppl signing up...but they may not become postaholics, who knows. only time will tell

Just think about it for a moment. Even if we "just" attract a half of the internet saavy adventure/non-action gamers... how many more people would that be then we have actively on the forums now?

Generously, we have about a dozen and a half active forumers. Sound about right?

Less than generously, there are several thousand strictly adventure gamers who are active online.

If we got even fifty of those active forumers... KQ9 forums would be WAY different. Be afraid LN. Before this is over ALL of us might have to become moderators.  ::)

There's nothing to be afraid of. :P  The more people, the more fun it will be! XD  True, we'd definitely need more moderators if we went from 600 people to 6000 but I think the majority of them will be good. :)
