:-\ Sorry to hear that things have been like that lately, Shadow... Your friend is in my prayers... and if theres anything I can do, dont hesitate to ask!

(im not really sure theres anything I can do... but If there is, Ill do it.)

Thanks for that friend; I still have had no direct contact with her but I should be recieving an e-mail in a few minutes that should bring some sort of news (whether it is good or bad I don't know.)

Bad things:

Shadow's situations. Dude, you need some happy in your life.

Harrison's computer has bitten the big one! We'll find out in a few days from the computer shop whether it's a temporary thing or a permanent thing. :P

The Bad: I internet is being closed down (Sunday) for a week while i change ISP's  :'(  :-\.  I guess 512k is worth the wait.
The Bad: Nothing to do this weekend but post on here.

Good thing:

Harrison's hard drive is perfectly functional, so his data is safe for later retrieval.

Bad thing:

His motherboard is fried. Since there's not really a way to swap the motherboard of an ancient Compaq (and it's way past warranty), he needs to buy a new computer. Considering how broke we both are, this sorta sucks.

On the bright side, I can "borrow" his new computer to play newer games! (shifty, evil look)

(chuckle) Maybe. I dunno if he's going to bite the bullet, sink some dept, and get a modern computer, or try to get an old el cheapo for the interim to spend less.

Bad thing:

My left calf has had a twinge in the muscle for some time now, but I managed to really wrench it today and now it seriously hurts. :P

Kewl. 8) Whatever he gets, just make sure the video card is either ATI Radeon- or Nvidia-based, otherwise KQ9 won't run.  Most cards are either of those two nowdays anyway.

The Bad: Freezing cold, even with the heating on.  :-\

I had trouble with an Nvidia card that I purchased in the past and so I would suggest an Ati Radeon card because these cards have worked well for me so far
