Hey there

How long after the KQ's will KQIX take place? Like say how many years after KQ5, 6, 7 and MOE? Cause it seemed MOE took place many years after KQ5, KQ6 and 7. Maybe it was just me. I like to think that more was not a sequelbut a prequel. I mean, everything in Daventry seems more primitive. Like in the KQ6 movie, the castle looks beautiful, majestical. In MOE, it looks much more primitive. Maybe.

I think that has less to do with the timing and more to do with the fact that MOE sucked  

This is the Timeline according to KQ9. It assumes the games are in chronological order, and pretty close together (with the exception of KQ2 & 3). KQ9 would probably begin after the timeline ends.

BTW, in KQ2+ AGDI also assume that MOE happened many years after KQ7... so you're not alone in that opinion, DanceMagicDance

I don't know exactly how much later, but I know that KQ9 does consider the events of MoE to have taken place.  So my guess is that it would be after the timeline ends.

Isn't there supposedly some picture of King Graham in the castle in Daventry?  I dunno, never played, but I've heard some things.
Why would there be a picture of him if he hadn't become King yet?  I think that answers all the questions.

Many years AFTER KQ7, QC...meaning he was King There are portraits of he and Valanice in the castle in MoE.

Still, because the portraits were there, Graham had to have at least been made King before MoE took place.  I suppose one could say it's possible it took place between KQ2 and KQ3, or KQ4 and KQ5, or even KQ6 and KQ7 or something, but I think it's just easier and better to say it came after KQ7.
Did we figure it out yet? We *were* trying to figure out whether or not MoE is actually supposed to be after the other KQs, right?  Did I confuse myself?

There's no reason to think MOE is out of the chronological order. The opinions differ as to how much time has passed between KQ7 and MOE - according to KQ9 it follows closely after, and according to KQ2+ there's been quite a few years between them

Alex looks about 18 in KQ6 so i guess it all makes sense . If he is 18 in KQ6 then he was 19 in KQ7 and 20 in KQ8 and then 21 in KQ9
