I already knew that stuff, granted, but it's still so exciting to read again!

So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

More than an hour on the phone, chatting with Jane Jensen, the adventure gaming goddess herself?!  :o

Wow! That is indeed an honor beyond the wildest dreams.

Cez, I now hate you  ;D

I believe the appropriate Firefly-ism for this is: "Shiney, cap'n" XD

HOLY CRAPOLA! THAT'S AWESOME! Truly an honor, Cez. I hope Jane continues to make adventure games. I'm looking into getting into writing for games myself, and both Jane Jensen and Roberta Williams have been inspirations for me. Although I'll admit that Roberta Williams is more of an inspiration to me; I've hardly played any Jane Jensen games, but the little I have played are amazing. I intend to play more of her games when time and money opens up.

The Gabriel Knight games really are just fabulously well written.  And I've only played the demo of Gray Matter so far but it was really impressive despite some animation issues with the faces in the subtitle bar.

I played the demo too; I'm a day one purchaser of Gray Matter. Unfortunately, Gamestop isn't selling it, so I won't be able to use my employee discount, but I fully intend to buy the whole game. I loved the demo, and I'm sure I'll love the whole game.

I played about five minutes of the first Gabriel Knight, but I haven't had much time to devote to anything lately. I'm in the midst of failing the basics of programming, so I'm in the process of getting tutoring. Because of this, I won't have much, if any, time to devote to playing games. But I fully intend to give Gabriel Knight a full playthrough when I'm not up to my neck in school work.

Totally awesome!  I honestly haven't played any of the GK games, but I'd like to at some point...
yet to garner praise from creators as prolific and legendary in the Adventure Game genre as
Jane AND Roberta is really cool.

It just means you're doing something right, eh?

That it does! I'd do anything to have a conversation with Roberta Williams for an hour over the phone. Seriously. I'd go to the ends of the earth and back just to get the chance to talk to her for that period of time.

I think I have the plot for a future Phoenix game right there. I'll call it Adventure Quest! (I get the feeling that name is already taken... XD). Now to buckle down and get started on the plot...
