Comforting?  You do realize she decapitated the guy, right? :P

I don't mind English teachers... I've had some cool ones. :)

And Yonkey... sure, she's being comforting. She simply had to put the poor, suffering, deformed snowman out of his misery. Euthanasia and all that. ;)

Peace & Luv, Liz

Questing Character

That doesn't make you related to the snowman.  That makes you its midwife.  No wonder you felt the need to put it out of its misery, but at least you didn't blame yourself and wallow in guilt for years afterwards and ruin your complexion by never leaving your basement.

You did the right thing.  As your devout worshipper, I'm proud of you!

I hate that tree pic already :P

and I do hate teachers that understimate their students... kind of pisses me off

it is funny you bring that up because it happens to me too, Im not the social... fun, loving girl that is the stereotypical "good student", Im very... serious and I dont really mingle much, I just go to do what I have to do... you know? :P

so teachers tend to asume Im not really applicated or something? lol, and when they get my straight A's they are like... woo :P and then they just lub me :) yay!

...but you are different in that from me... I mean, the problem is that I'm not always quiet, I'm joking around and stuff ...not (acting) serious ; ) ...I pay attention but the teachers don't think i do...

hahahaha.... and when they see my results they are like: WHAAA...at??

hahahaha, still they don't love me after that, but the acknowledge that they misjudged me ; ) ...though i get a lot of feedback that i have to act more serious from time to time, lol!! ; )

well I am, most of the time.... but not at some classes and not with some teachers, cuz they are boring and such ; \

lol and i never go for the straight A's (whaaa... you nerd!! *hugz* ; ) ...i'll settle for 80% (sometimes more, sometimes less), that is high enough for me ; )

hahaha.. i'm so misunderstood! ...and i love it!! though it isn't always funny ; /

...I'm like the worst student ever ; ( ....i get good grades without doing much for it ; ( ....i don't like it, and i certainly don't deserve it ; (  ...it is so unfair!! ; (

I really sucked at school... sure, I LOOK like the serious type that always studies, does her homework and gets straight A's, but in truth I hardly ever studied hard or got good grades :-[
Many people still fall for that and mistake me for a smart person though :P

I didn't give a crap about what impression I made on my teachers - I mostly cared about the impression THEY make on me, like whether I managed to stay awake through their classes, or if they had the nasty habit of forcing me to talk in class. Couldn't stand talking in class... most teachers knew better than to make me do that to begin with. Only the really mean ones insisted on putting me through that hell  :(

hahaha... i fel asleep in some classes too.... lol, when i was 10!! ...i played cardgames in class, while the others were doing math and such ; )

I don't think I ever got straight A's.  I only get A's in the classes I'm good in.  The rest just don't interest me, so I can't be bothered.  In the past, I used to try even harder at those classes to get A's, but I never could, so after a while I just learned to accept it.  ;D

I guess people have some perception of me as being smart, but I usually exceed people's expectations. XD  Sometimes I exceed my own expectations, which is kinda shocking cuz I set them high.  But I know that if I can exceed my own, then I've done an amazing job.  ;D

I'm hoping to get B for politics,C for English, and C for Music in my A'levels, that'll get me into a decent uni for the courses I want to do anyway although I'm having a gap year next year (thank god!) so its going to be intereseting to see if I actually WANT to go back after I've "bettered" myself for a whole year. I was a proper little swot up untill about year 10 when I started to not care much any more whereas peole who hadn't tried in previous years seemed to concentrate then! Odd!

who would have thought? Im serious when I work (or at college stuff) because once the joke is on to get back the sanity to the project and control mislead into unnecesary arguments, in fact I rarely joke sometimes with my own staff or coworkers or such (Neil is a very very special case), I've had bad experiences myself so I try to restrain now. Lol, but i never thought you were a goofnut :P

Ha! fooled you! stereotypes can be so misleading ;)
The only thing I remember being good at in highschool was English and biology - probably because they were my favorites. I seriously sucked at math and chemistry - I'm amazed I even passed those :S

In college - first year, the only thing I got A's in was programming (don't get too excited, EVERYONE got them). Second year I didn't get anything like that. Third year - I'd rather not talk about it ::)

Heh. I almost always got straight As as a kid, except for gym and occasionally social studies/history. My grades dropped a lot when I started suffering from depression when I was 11, but it was from lack of motivation rather than lack of ability.

I don't really feel like I'm all that smart, though. All I do is just read, pay attention, and tinker a little. IMHO, everything I know and know how to do is stuff that almost anyone could learn if they just paid attention and read the instructions. So I hate it when people try to call me a "brain" or something. :P

I was a very hyperactive, bratty kid, and I was a total motor-mouth, so my teachers couldn't stand me back then. When I eventually "matured", I became pretty quiet for the most part, although I could still be talkative when I felt I had something to say.

Once I did mature, I don't think my teachers had much of an impression of me other than "solid student". Doesn't stand out much, just quietly does her work and usually does it well. I'm like that at work, too, actually.

I do know I worried my teachers a little at times, because my creative abilities and sense of humor have always been a tad morbid/demented. ;)

When I'm on my "free time", I have a healthy sense of humor, albeit a usually somewhat subtle, dry, and "straight-faced" one. I tend to come off as a little humorless at work/school sometimes, though, just because when I'm concentrating on working I relate everything I do, say, and hear to just getting the job done. So joking comments I ordinarily would understand/enjoy while not working tend to trip me up/piss me off when I am working.

Peace & Luv, Liz

ahhh.... restraining myself ; ) ...lol, that is why i usually want to work alone, i always talk too much (and make too much fun) ....i keep others from there concentration ; ) ...lol, i can work, but they can't..... hahaha, still some ppl even prefer working with me!!  :o

I never went for anything, not A's, B's or any percentages. The only thing I cared about was that I had high enough grades to get to the next year. Other than that, forget it. 8)

I do the work I'm supposed to do, and in time of the deadlines. However, if there's no deadline set, some things can take a long time. And the more someone nags about something that's non-deadlined, the longer it actually takes. >:(

o..k, sorry  :-\ for that.... i kinda understand though, but i never experienced that someone was getting humiliated in front off the whole class... true, some weren't good at sports/gym, but they knew that and they didn't care and neither were the others.

EDIT: lol, the number posts i made at this forum is now the same of my year of birth ; )
