To get the butterfly away from Black Widow, you need an item from the Isle of Mist.

After that....

You'll need another item to get the butterfly free from the webbing. This item's name is very obvious in how it will help you.

I cannot seem to find anything on Isle of Mist? I did find a stick, but I used that already to get the net. So, how to I get the butterfly because it will not let me use the net.

Is the stick? Because if it is, it is not letting get it back. Graham is not climbing back up to get it. It tells the item is too big for him to carrying.

I'm not sure what item you're referring to in the last part of your post there. But yes, you need that stick back. What kind of thing do kids usually use when they want to catch butterflies? Try making one of those.

Yeah, but where exactly? I've looked everywhere, including the Stonehenge and the Arch Druid's house, and touched everything tree-like or made of wood. Tough luck

The stick is in the circle of stones near the firepit on the isle of mist. It almost blends in with the ground so you have to look carefully. If you've already used the stick to prop something up and need it back, you need to get into position first like before. I noticed the clicking is kind of hit or miss in this part, so that might be the problem.

The pawn shop owner came back to his shop for me after I had gotten into a certain guarded room in the castle.

Okay, I'm also a bit stuck getting past the guardian and could use a little help.  I know that I need to be a friend to nature by freeing the Butterfly.  I've got all my original items from Chap 2 after leaving Valanice.  I've also got the stick, skull and candle.  I know I am supposed to make a butterfly net to free the butterfly net, since I couldn't use just the stick.  I just can't figure out what I am supposed to combine with the stick to make the net.  None of my inventory items seem to be doing the trick.  Can someone please direct me as to where I should be looking for another item?  To the exact location specifically please?  Is the other item also on the Isle of Mist?  Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

I was stuck trying to make progress there before.  I did manage to get past the snapdragons and get the seashell.  Thanks.  Any hints on how to avoid getting my head cut off?

Thanks for everyone's help with all the hints.  I finally did manage to get past the guardian.  Now I'm trying to figure out how to get past the next challenge.
