is there a way to skip the chessboard but get the seashell? It's frustrating the HELL out of me, even to the fact that I don't want to play... I've beaten all the lsl games, space quest games and kings quest games so you can tell how much of an addict I am but this puzzle is so confusing.
I'm almost ready to throw in the towel so to speak - please help!!!

You do not need to skip it
Do you have the tile?
Below is a fairly explicit spoiler. So only use it if you are very stuck. And I mean VERY stuck. It's very entertaining to figure out.
How the game works.
Red checker is stage one.
Red chess stage two.
White chess stage 3.

They will pass the shell between them and the white checker. Watch where the white checker moves when it throw to the red checkers. Then place the tile on the square where it jumps. But make sure that tile is the opposite colour of the square you're putting it on. Use this for below when I say block it.

White checker will pass it to red chess when blocked. Red chess 1 (the one the white one throws it too) will now toss it between itself and Red Chess 2 (the other one). If you block Red Chess 2 it will throw to White Checker and you'll have to start all over again. You need to block Red Chess 1 who will then throw it to White Chess 1. Block white chess 2. WHite chess two will then throw to hole in the wall.

I have a brain injury  so I can't remember where the tiles jump to cause I have trouble with my memory

Perhaps then you should wait for a person to post a video walk through for it then, cause it actually does spoil the fun out of solving that puzzle if someone gives you the answers.
All you need to do is place the tile in the way of where the checkers leap to and find which one throws it to the next chess piece.
is there no other way?

I'd rather not spell it out to you. Apparently there will be a walk through on the 3rd of March. If you can wait till then, it'll give you a step by step way of doing it :) Trust me- it'll be easier this way, cause the puzzles after this one are actually a lot harder.

No, there is no other way. If you can't remember, then write down the steps on a piece of paper, go into the game, and then when you follow the steps, put your finger on the screen in the same place as the tile to help you remember.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Also, don't forget that you can save and restore. If you're really stuck, save, try something, and if it doesn't work, restore and try something else.

I had a good bit of trouble, partly because I came in from working nightshift and was already tired and spent over an hour...the thing I was missing was
I did not know I could flip the tile so you can put it on the red squares.
Once someone said that on the other thread, I got it in no time.
