I can see the galleries...they just take a friggin' month to appear.
I have mixed feelings on what I'm seeing here. On the one hand, some of the landscapes actually look okay, with Cupid's pool being a standout. On the other hand, the models generally look...well, weird.
Rosella is not at all how I pictured her (I pictured her being, y'know, attractive?), but the biggest offender is the cave troll. If you
have to show us what it looks like,
please don't make it look like Bigfoot's wimpy little brother, K guys? In fact, I'm opposed to seeing what it looks like, period. I LIKED how its appearance in the original game was left up to your imagination, and how all you saw was a pair of green, glow-in-the-dark eyes and a barely-visible silhouette. That's part of what made that sequence so memorable.
No! No contrived overarching villains or prophecies! Bad fanboys! Bad!!
THIS. It was already a stretch shoehorning the Father into KQ3 as it is. KQ4 certainly doesn't need to be any more complicated.
...though I wouldn't mind if AGDI did a short stand-alone game wherein Graham kills the Father. The key word there being standalone.
But... I like the The Father plot.
Don't get me wrong, I don't HATE it, I just feel like it's its own story that needs to be told apart from the rest...that, and newcomers to the franchise who opt to play the remakes over the originals will be left feeling lost and confused when an important plot point like the Father just disappears into oblivion post KQ3 with no explanation given. Have you seen that thread on the IA forums entitled "What happened to the Father?" That was just painful to read.
