No, in that my computer is a Mac.  If you really want to reach the most people, you'll shoot for simultaneous release of a Mac port with all your future games.  ;)

Yeah this applies to Macs as well, if yours is able to run TSL nicely under WINE then it should be able to run future products meeting this same list of specs if we port them natively to Mac.

I have an Intel Pentium IV 3.0Ghz with 3GB DDR RAM. WinXP with an ATI X1650 AGP 512MB graphics card. Although I haven't had it for long, my last system was not much different; a 2.5Ghz processor with about 1.5GB of Ram I think with the same video card. I'll be upgrading everything in the next month or so for the first time since 2002 or something that will blow everything I just mentioned out of the water.

I had a 486 PC AT, running Windows 3.1.  I tried to play your game, but it laughed at me and then your game ate my computer, burped and left.

HAHAHAHA...

I am running:

Windows 7 64 bit
Intel i7 860
8 GB RAM
Can't remember the graphics card, but it is a 1GB dedicated to video memory.
I didn't know how much I really enjoyed the Sierra Adventure Games until I played them all over again 15 years later.

I meet all the requirements but the video memory. I just have the card that came with the computer, which only has 96 MB dedicated to video memory. I can still get through the game, it just has a hard time during some sequences that take place in larger environments, like the tower sequence, or on screens that have fire, mist, or water. I also have to turn off all reflections and stuff like that.

Ah.  Well in that case, yeah, it meets them just fine.  ;)

Windows 7
1.66 GHz (per core) Intel Centrino Duo
4 GB RAM (3.5 usable)
nVidia GeForce Go 7300, 256MB video memory

So everything's fine here.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Even if it wasn't, your graphics card should letter/pillarbox things automatically (and if it doesn't, just change its settings).

Pentium 4 - 2.8 Ghz
512 MB Ram
Windows XP SP3
Ati Radeon 9600 Pro with 128 MB video memory

So, no, but the game runs the same. (Oh, now I remember, it seemed to stop or skip some frames when loading the horse sequence, but fortunately in the end, the scene appeared and I could go on playing)
I should buy a new one, but my main computer is a Mac since 2006, so, I'm not interested in a new Windows PC.
I keep it and use it for games like this, until it runs.
I love Macs.

Uh- I should put down my specs though... I'll change it when I get home IF I got them wrong:-

Pentium Duo core 2.4Ghz
RAM- 2GB
Videocard- I forget the exact model, but it's Asus, and it has 1Gb of onboard memory. IT runs Bluray on HDMI cables
Platform- Windows XP SP2
Screen- AOC 21inch HD 1080i screen (Forget the exact model number.)

Operating System : Ubuntu 10.10
CPU : Intel Celeron T3500 (2.1 GHz)
RAM : 2GB
Video Card : can't find it in the specs, but considering this is a brand new computer, I would guess it meets or exceeds this.

I'm not going to vote in the poll because I cannot verify the last spec (I have a laptop, which may be why the specs are particularly opaque on this issue)

Anyway, TSL works fine for me under Wine aside from installation issues and bugs noted by Windows users.

The likelihood I would buy Corridor 9 or another Phoenix Studios game would dramatically increase if it were ported to Linux *wink*.

I can't vouch for Linux, but we've got some stuff cookin' for the mac. I just can't get any more specific than that right now. You'll find out what it is in due time though.

I'll clarify that a bit - all of our future projects are going to be done in the Unity engine, which ports natively to Windows, Mac, iOS stuff (iPad, iPhone, etc.) PS3, Wii, 360.  I don't think it does a Linux direct build though, but I'll check.

So we're finally making it public that we're using unity for the future? Awesome. That should make porting our games that much easier to do.

Really? MacOS and Linux are both based off of Unix; I would be surprised if it supports one and not the other.

Yeah it doesn't do a "Linux" build but if you can run Mac stuff or Windows stuff or whatever in Linux (I'm not all that familiar with Linux, sorry) then it should run just fine.  I wouldn't be surprised if they added that as an option before long though.
