How to interpret Ep. 3's conclusion - yes, of COURSE there are spoilers!!! =P

So I just finished Ep 3.  I was REALLY impressed - I thought the puzzles were very well done (especially the IoM one), and the plot was terrific.

That brings me to the conclusion...the way I viewed it (and I admittedly only played it once), there are two ways to interpret the exchange between Valanice and Manannan.  Is:

1.  Valanice actually Manannan's biological daughter, only she abandoned him/was abandoned by him at a young age and mostly views her foster family as her true one?  If so, is Hagatha the mother?

or

2.  Valanice completely unrelated to Manannan, but was brainwashed by him into eventually considering him to be her adoptive father?

...or was it intentionally vague/open-ended at this point?  Thoughts?

Although Manannan is more than capable of plotting that kind of scenario (See Alexander. Poor Prince didn't have a clue who he was for 17 years ), I doubt he's one it to Valanice. It's more likely that she cares for him as a Father than to be brainwashed cause he's upset too. TSL has alot of twists, but twists aren't needed here. Either Manannan is 100% evil, or he's somewhere less. If he brainwashed her, it'd defeat the point of TSL making him out to be a victim. He may be her adopted father, or IRL father. I doubt he's deceiving her. It doesn't feel right for the plot.

I can't give you any answers. Until after episodes 4 and 5. But I love this speculating...

But as Cez has confirmed this much already, yes, we mean he's her father by blood--but the fact that she refers to other people as her parents first is not to be ignored either.

Good! Just wait until you see what we've got planned after TSL. I think you'll become hooked on the company as a whole. We have many exciting things planned, but we're not ready to announce them just yet.
