Well Snatcher has:
1. Futuristic setting.
2. Robot buddy.
3. Main character who has amnesia.

We're not telepaths here, you need to give us more clues.

There was a sequel but it never did the original justice.
Ah but Snatcher is the sequel. So that doesn't work.

Okay more hints. The main character has a disease and needs to find a cure.

Edit: I should probably mention that it is a Playstation 1 game with a dark Sci Fi theme.

Absolutely!

Now, there is a mystery on this thread to be solved!

It's Overblood, right?

You want to make the next riddle a team job, drunkenmonkey?

Do you just not take your turn anymore. :)

Okay here's another.

1. Game based on a movie of the same name, though doesn't follow the movie story.
2. man who can't dream.
3. main character lives in an orphanage.

I stumped Katie, Welden, and Cez - CEZ! - with Gabriel Knight (indeed, I was surprised at just how successful I was at stumping all the Jane Jensen fans).  The trick, when picking a game that many people on the forum are familiar with, is to pick details which either a) are really obscure (such as the bit about Malia having volumes of Homer and Virgil) or b) require people to put two-and-two together.  An example of this type of hint is (GK1 spoiler ahead)
... the hints about Mosley breaking the light bulb in the Gedde crypt. When you think about it, it's obvious - the light bulb just happened to break when Mosely was in the crypt and trying to hide quickly.  But since the game doesn't require you to think about it, many players don't.
'Course my favourite hints were the ones about Gabe and his mother - partially because I think Gabe saying "Miss you, mom" is one of the most poignant moments in the game, but also because it's a moment that's easy to miss even on multiple play-throughs.

My point is that even if you pick a game like GK1, you can make some pretty stumping hints by using the above guidelines.

Correct. Working together? But if nobody has a clue they wont play.;D Guessing in teams for points might be a fun idea though. I choose Rado. :)

What I meant was coming up with the clues together.

But okay, here's an easy one:
1. Object is to find wealth.
2. Object of the game is to survive.
3. It includes a maze that is all alike.

Rogue?

If not for the treasure part, I would guess Pac Man. :P
