It's a compliment to Jane Jensen, really.  There is so much complicated stuff in those games it's easy to pick up easily missed tidbits as clues.

Anyway, yeah, y'alls want a new challenge, right?

1. You can pursue romance with two characters ... neither of whom are alive.
2. One part of the game is a reference to Kafka
3. It is possible, at one point, for your weapon to transform into your foe (at which point your foe will kill you)

Well, since it's a bug, it won't happen if you've ironed out the bugs (which I had in the process of, y'know, playing the entire game).  There is however a demonstration on youtube:
